Tessa Caldwell swallowed a mouthful of saliva, feeling very uneasy about Faye's sudden attentiveness. "I have my own hands and feet, why would I let you feed me?"
She reached out to grab it, but missed, as Faye brought it to her lips, "Come on, open up."
Tessa didn't want to eat, just wanted to open her mouth to speak.
But Faye stuffed the durian pastry into her mouth, forcing her to swallow her words and start chewing the food in her mouth.
Faye reached out and touched her cheek, "Don't rush, take your time eating."
What did he mean? He just stuffed it all in her mouth, and now he was pretending to be a nice guy. Tessa felt like she wanted to smack him across the face.
She pointed at Faye, grumbling with her mouth full of food.
Faye let her grumble, knowing no one could understand what she was saying, and he just looked at her deeply, full of adoration.
