Faye laughed angrily for a moment and joked, how about a stronger dose?
He curled his lips, half-smiling, and said, "Yeah! So what? Isn't she prettier than you? And younger!"
Tessa Caldwell suppressed the sour feeling in her heart, pursed her lips, and scoffed, "She may be younger than me, but how is she better looking? I am naturally beautiful, adored by everyone, and she's... far worse than me!"
Faye snorted, "Your skin is thicker than a city wall!"
Tessa Caldwell huffed and pouted at him, "I like it!"
Faye raised an eyebrow, teasingly smiled, and asked, "Didn't you say you'd never be angry if I found other women? Why does your face look so awful!"
Tessa Caldwell immediately laughed, though it was obviously fake, "Who's looking awful? Aren't I laughing right now? Also..." She pointed towards the door, "Why did you let her run away."
Faye answered seriously, "Do you believe that if I make a phone call, she'll come back immediately!"
