As soon as she finished drinking, Renee Langdon almost spat it out. The water had just been passed over by Quinn Leroy, and it seemed like he'd taken a sip from that cup.
So didn't that mean they'd… indirectly… kissed?
After that, Renee Langdon just wolfed down her food; she could barely taste what the roast goose was like anymore.
She kept sneaking glances at Quinn Leroy on and off.
Luckily, Quinn Leroy didn't pay her any mind. His elbow was propped on the table, his palm supporting his chin, eyes half closed like he was dozing. There was a faint bluish shadow between his brows, but it did nothing to hide his original handsome, refined features.
His skin was very fair, completely bare-faced, but it had this clear, luminous feel, like he was wearing foundation.
It was exactly because of his complexion that he looked like some sort of Immortal, when in fact every feature of his carried a hint of coldness and desolation.
What a good-looking man.
