Qian left the Mu Family. The Mu Family wasn't far from her second brother's place, and Qian wanted to go over to see her freshman cousin and, while she was at it, check on Beauty, whom she hadn't seen for several days. The family Beauty had been sent to lived in the same compound as her second brother; seemed like they were even her second brother's boss.
As soon as the car pulled into the courtyard, she saw something happening up ahead.
Qian had just driven into the complex when something shot toward her from the front. Her brows lifted in delight and she hurriedly hit the brakes.
She had barely gotten out of the car when that familiar, affectionate bark rang out.
"Woof~~"
"Green Tea Beauty!" Qian was over the moon. After not seeing it for days, she suddenly felt this little rascal was inexplicably adorable.
Behind Beauty was a kid bawling their eyes out, looked under ten, with a nanny-looking woman beside them. The two were running so hard they were panting.
