(Lucifers POV)
This boy is simply mysterious...
I watched as Alastor and the child fought. Their bodies were blurred as they dashed across the already destroyed road. I could make out the blueish flames coming from the boy's blade as he blocked one of Alastor's black tentacles. My smile raises upwards slightly as I felt the heat radiating off the blade from where I sat.
(Those flames will be a nuisance.)
As I watched, the fight between Alastor and the boy continued. I felt the hairs on the back of my neck stand on end as my eyes snapped toward the boy. He froze for a moment as the tentacles from Alastors slowly resided back into their portals. I could feel the air grow thick with bloodlust as I peered over at Alastor. His smile was crazed, and the look in his eyes was none the better.
(So, you feel it to Alastor.)
I felt my own smile become more vicious as I mused, "Things are about to get interesting."

(These fucking tentacles!)
I slashed my blade upwards as I severed a thin tentacle and spun around to block another behind my back. I sidestepped another one before dashing forward and thrusting my sword toward Alastor. The man himself was smiling as he leaped backward from my reach. I planted my foot into the ground and pushed forward. The wind whipped past my face as I slid behind Alastor and slashed across his back. Immediate, Alastor's head snapped back as he blocked my sword slash with his large claw-like hand.
"My dear boy, you're going to have to be a little bit quicker than this Overlord!"
I huffed before pulling my blade away from Alastors claw. His red eyes widened slightly as he suddenly found himself falling toward me. Taking the chance I drove my leg forward as my blade drew a blue arc toward Alastor's exposed neck.

As the blue screen shifted to another I could faintly hear the sound of radio-like music playing in the background. As the screen settled, I felt my heart jump into my throat as I gazed at the number before me.

I waited before the sound of dinging ran through my head. After a few moments I heard Kane speak, {Flash Step has been purchased.} I felt an electrical shock run through my body as a feeling of lightness spread through my feet.

I nodded my head and was met with a blue screen message.

After that nothing else popped up and I stood there, looking stupid. I waited, but nothing came up as I said, "Kane?" There was no response and after a few more seconds I said, "Kane?!" Suddenly, the blue screen seems to glitch out as Kane's voice became static, {L-L-Last I-I-Item I-I-I-I-Is!} There was more static before suddenly the glitching stoped.
I stood there in awkward silence.

I sighed in relief before I said with concern, (What was that?)

I blinked at Kane's words before I said, "What is it?"
My question was answered as I gazed at the words upon the blue screen.

After my internal outburst, I suddenly felt a searing pain enter my head as I fell to my knees. I felt my teeth grind together as my head throbbed. (What the fuck!) I could feel my vision fill up with a bright light as I felt myself start to panic.

Then everything was suddenly engulfed in white.
