Shi Wancheng heard the noise and turned to look at her, "Where did you go just now?"
"I went back to Sister Shi Su's side and read some books for a while." Shi Yuan answered honestly, her gaze towards Shi Wancheng was still somewhat timid, reminiscent of the last time she was called out of the hospital, when she heard his voice on the phone, exhibiting that same small and fearful demeanor.

Though he didn't ask, he looked Shi Yuan over twice and asked plainly, "Where is Shi Su?"
