Prince's jaw tightened, his fists clenching. "Yes, I will bring Bishop Frank down. I will expose him and connect him to all of this. He is the spider in the center of this web, and I will tear it apart. I only need time."
Duke sighed heavily, rubbing his temples. "That, my friend, will not be an easy venture. Even if you were to connect him to this, it wouldn't be enough to bring him down. He's tied too deeply to the kingdom's infrastructure. Frank controls many of the trade routes, the passageways for goods and commerce. To attack him would mean unraveling the very fabric of France's economy."
