In the distant night on the Great Plains, both England and France—amongst their friends, allies, and enemies—enjoyed a great roast. Duke James, his belly flapping in the air, went on about how the last time he had a feast this grand, an entire village of children had starved next to him.
Shoving two fingers into the back of his head, Duke looked at Duke James, indiscriminately planning ways to remove his dukeship altogether, while the rest of the Dukes laughed at the utter blasphemy of his words. Godwin sat alone above the group, watching the affair from a higher position.
He ruminated over all that had happened so far, his eyes keenly observing the encampment.
Further in the corner, he noticed several Dukes of England grouped together. They were not planning anything nefarious, but they kept their distance, observing from afar while the other Dukes of England blended into the feast.
As his eyes continued to scan the camp, Godwin noticed two people were missing.
