Going back in time to the point just after the collapse of the ancient guardian formation of the Void Observation Branch of the Mirage Sect, a short distance just out of range of the destruction that had created the Yellow Peak Region Abyss as it would be aptly named in the not so distant future, the formation master behind the collapse of this massive and intricate formation whose scale exceeded anything she had a chance to work with in the past, was being carried off by the Star Creation Realm cultivator who had helped her earlier and made sure she was able to safely escape from the collapse of the ancient formation.
After all, without this powerful figure carrying her out, there was no way she would have ever been able to get out in time with her current strength.
Even if she was more than skilled enough to chart a safe path through the collapsing formation like she had just shown not that long ago, her speed was simply too slow.
