Yeah! Here's the new chapter!

---------------------------------------------------------------------

My mom attacking the Minister of Magic was definitely not something I expected to happen tonight.

But, as unexpected — and completely insane — as it had been, I couldn't deny that it was also quite satisfying... at least for me.

In fact, if I didn't have to worry about the looks and opinions of the people outside, I would've beaten Fudge myself the moment he started questioning me like a criminal.

So now, looking at the furious and toothless wizard, I couldn't hold back the huge smile that spread across my face.

"Mom, have I ever told you that you're amazing and that I love you?" I asked, obviously delighted.

"Well, yes... but it's always nice to hear it again," she replied, unable to suppress her own smile any longer.

Seeing the mother and son pair smiling at each other made everyone nearby break into a cold sweat.

It was hard for anyone to understand how we could look so calm and cheerful... considering that, just a few minutes ago, the leader of the British wizarding community had been punched by my mom.

"Tsk, that's so unfair..." Penny muttered under her breath, pouting. "Sarah was just a little faster than me. If I had hexed that fat idiot before she punched him, the one getting all of Ethan's praise right now would've been me."

Nick, hearing his wife's complaints and seeing her sulking pout, just shook his head in amusement and exasperation.

"Don't worry, honey. You'll have other chances to impress Ethan later," he said, trying to cheer her up.

And apparently, it worked, because a lively sparkle flashed in her eyes soon after.

"Wait, dear... you're right!" the immortal lady said, sounding excited. "Just because Sarah hit the Minister first doesn't mean I can't hit him too!"

"And if I make sure he gets even more hurt and suffers a bit more, Ethan will definitely praise me a lot!" she added, gripping her wand tightly.

'What?! How did you twist my words that much!?' Nick gawked, staring nervously at his beloved.

He then noticed Penny's expression growing fiercer and more determined, with the tip of her wand beginning to glow dangerously.

"Calm down, honey... let Ethan deal with him first... You know how much he enjoys teasing and humiliating people like the Minister," he said quickly.

Then, slowly and carefully, he lowered the hand she was using to hold her wand.

Hearing her husband, Penny reluctantly put away her wand, knowing he was right.

'Hmph, next time...' she thought, casting a malicious look at Fudge.

Realizing he had managed to prevent a disaster, Nick sighed in relief.

In truth, he didn't really care if Penny actually attacked or even crippled Fudge. The real issue was that he didn't want to start a war between them and the Ministry right now — at least not while my family was still present.

"ARGH! Stop ignoring me already!" Fudge shouted, a nasty grimace twisting his toothless face.

His outburst made us all turn back to him again, with looks that were anything but intimidated or impressed.

"Minister, please, don't shout. We're in an infirmary," said Andromeda, calm and diplomatic as always.

Unfortunately, that only seemed to irritate the Ministry wizard even more.

"Don't shout? DON'T SHOUT?!" he bellowed. "How do you expect me not to shout when all of you started ignoring me after that... that... that barbaric woman assaulted me?!" he pointed at my mom, grinding his teeth.

Penny, protectively stepping in front of my mom, said, "Minister, you're a grown man. How long are you going to keep whining about this?" she rolled her eyes.

"Yes, it's just a small injury. Nothing major," my mom muttered.

"A small injury?!" Fudge choked, before grabbing his broken tooth and showing it to everyone. "Is this what you call a small injury?! You broke my tooth!!"

"Well, you still have thirty-one others. One less doesn't make that much difference," she shrugged.

"And besides, aren't you a wizard? Fix it with a spell or a potion."

"You..." a vein throbbed on Fudge's forehead.

My mom's bold and sarcastic replies made him feel utterly humiliated. His expression twisted as if he'd just swallowed something very sour.

And it was only at that moment that he realized — no matter what he said or did, no one here was going to take him seriously.

The level of disrespect and contempt shown toward him was so overwhelming that his breathing grew uneven.

Even without using my Empathy, I could feel the whirlwind of emotions stirring violently inside him.

"You know what? Enough! I'll have the Aurors arrest you!" he shouted, glaring furiously at my mom.

Upon hearing that, everyone in the tent gasped or sighed in panic. Shock and anger were written across several faces.

Those with stronger ties to my family immediately raised their wands, ready to act if anyone tried to harm my mom.

"Minister, you can't arrest Mrs. Night," Andy began, stepping forward from the group, ready to try to defuse the situation.

"And why not? I'm the Minister of Magic! And she attacked and disrespected me!"

"True," she agreed seriously. "But all she did was defend herself — and her son. Any other mother would've reacted the same way, or maybe even worse, upon seeing someone harassing her child."

"Harassing? Are you saying I was harassing him?!" Fudge pointed to himself, outraged.

"Well, what else would you call it?" Andy retorted, raising an eyebrow. "You've been pestering Ethan ever since he returned from the graveyard. And even after he answered all your questions, you still accused him of lying."

"And now, you even followed him to the medical tent to keep interrogating him, disrupting his recovery and preventing Madam Pomfrey from doing her job."

"If that's not harassment and abuse of power, then I can only assume you've become Ethan's fan and are just after his autograph," Andy finished sarcastically.

"I-I..." Fudge stammered, unable to find a response to the head of the Tonks family's arguments.

As he stared at her, speechless, the rest of us couldn't help but look at Andy in amazement.

Andromeda had just shown us that, even though she'd been disowned by the Blacks, she still had that powerful family's blood running through her veins.

The moment she switched into her lawyer mode, the entire atmosphere around her changed.

She became a decisive, intimidating, sharp, and definitely dangerous woman — with a touch of elegance.

'Man, Andy really lives up to her reputation... and Ted's got my respect for managing to land a woman like her,' I thought, looking at the muggle-born wizard with reverence.

Back to our ever-so-esteemed Minister, he wore a grimace on his face as he clenched his fists, feeling completely cornered by the Black witch.

Deep down — and with great reluctance — he knew Andy was right.

He was being too insistent, authoritarian, and completely out of line in his attempts to extract answers from me.

However, even if he recognized that, he had no intention of backing down.

If he did, it would mean admitting his mistake in front of all of us — a blow his ego and reputation couldn't take.

Besides, he could still feel the painful burn on his cheek, reminding him of the "cowardly attack" he'd suffered, and he simply couldn't let the matter go.

"L-look, I'm not abusing my power," he began, trying to keep his composure. "And I'm not trying to bother or harass anyone either. In fact, I'm just doing my job!" he tried to justify himself.

"Your job?" Sirius, who could no longer stay silent, asked. "And since when is it the Minister's job to interrogate people? As far as I remember, that's the Aurors' job. And, as far as I know, you're not one of them." his gaze toward Fudge was full of mockery and scorn.

"Mr. Black, I think you still don't understand that—"

"It's Lord Black to you, Minister Fudge," Sirius cut him off coldly.

"That..." Fudge grimaced, recognizing the weight of a Lord's title.

Watching him get silenced again, I shook my head.

'He really doesn't stand a chance here,' I thought, feeling his nervousness and frustration rise.

At that moment, Fudge was being crushed from all sides and in every possible way. I was sure that if this went on, he'd have a complete breakdown.

And for a brief moment, I even felt a little sorry for him... but only a little.

End.
