Lady Ravyn wanted to answer, but she couldn't.
She was looking at Rex, who was sitting alone inside the pavilion.
Even though he looked normal, Lady Ravyn could feel it—the person sitting there wasn't anything less than a monster. His face was dashing, his clothes were regal and clean, his form was that of an ordinary person, but he was undoubtedly a monster.
Just the expression he was wearing alone, icy cold, was scaring her.
Lady Ravyn lowered her gaze, unable to maintain eye contact.
"It's so late in the night, Lady Ravyn," Rex continued, smiling as he tilted his head a little. "Even inside the bubble, even inside your own territory, don't you know that the night is where more danger lurks? It's unwise to wander around this late."
'Is he threatening me? How did he know my name? Did he anticipate this?'
A lot of questions appeared in Lady Ravyn's mind.
