"Say," Rex darted his gaze left and right, letting the people look and remember his face. He was playing along. "I wonder, considering how big this realm really was, do you always interrogate everyone who enters? If it were me, that sounds like a big hassle."
"I'm not going to let you leave without being checked," Vadyn answered flatly. "Don't even try."
