Rex floated in the sky, standing above the main disk of starlight. The Law of Misdirection was active, dispersing his aura so that it would be harder for him to be detected. He watched the water dome swallow the northern Divine Source whole.
It rose from the earth like a second sky.
A perfect hemisphere of churning, liquid that blotted the outer world.
To anyone on the surface, this was the work of a God, as nobody could peer through the dome.
But to Rex, it was surely the work of the enemy forces.
A good sign.
He had laid out the bait, and now it had been taken; the enemy believed the Red Skull Elite Force was scattered across the central continent, bleeding to defend the greater factions of the realm so that chaos and mayhem would not reign.
That was the wrong assumption.
Rex wiped out the Demigods within the central continent exactly to make them think this.
