Even though he didn't know what a Warden was exactly, he assumed it was a similar entity to the Cluster Custodian, someone who inherited the pure power of a God. Due to that, he knew that finding one might be a little bit hard.

Said that they wouldn't spend too long in the Sundial Arch.
Not to mention, he was quite sure that the realm hid countless booby traps that would hinder them from finding a Warden or finding anything within the Sundial Arch at all. But he wasn't expecting to stumble into one so soon.
