Fulfilling Rex's favour was quite difficult to do.
It wasn't as simple as snapping his fingers—as he needed to consult a collective move with a few other Wardens who were currently free from heavy duties. He needed to meet with them first and discuss how to proceed with this.
But it didn't mean that the Warden couldn't fulfill it.
Just that it would take extra steps that he wasn't expecting to need to do.
Above Rex's mysterious background, his raw divinity was quite low, so the Warden wasn't expecting to do anything hard. He was far stronger than Rex, and the disparity in strength should've made it obvious that the grade of crisis for the two was vastly different.
He was wrong.
As a Scion, Rex was dealing with unimaginable threats—that is the cost of threading that path.
