Chapter 11 - | The Architecture of the New Story

Minty: "Welcome back, everyone! Before the break, Iboni dropped a bombshell—she's starting a new chapter, not just in her life, but in her writing, and she's invited Minty Talks to be a part of it."

[The audience cheers, the energy in the room still buzzing from the previous revelation.]

Minty: "Now, Iboni, you mentioned that your new mission is to share the Gospel and be a testimony of God's love. But as a writer who has mastered genres like K-Pop fanfic, Filipino folklore, and raw memoirs... I want to talk about the style of this new testimony."

[The audience settles in, curious about the 'how' behind this new creative direction.]

Minty: "Here is my first question for this final chapter: Often, when people hear the word 'Gospel' or 'testimony,' they expect something very formal or perhaps a bit preachy. But your voice has always been so grounded in human emotion—the 'denim jacket' style of writing."

Minty: "How do you plan to balance the 'Heavenly' truth you want to share with the 'Earthly' reality your readers love? Will we see elements of the supernatural—like the diwatas—returning in a new way, or are you moving toward a more realistic, modern-day setting to show how faith works in the 'real world'?"

[Minty leans forward, her eyes bright. The audience is silent, wondering if the 'Wizarding World' and 'K-Pop Dreams' were just a phase, or if they are the tools Iboni will use to tell this new story.]

Iboni: "Hmm... when I asked you that your show Minty Talks will be included, I was thinking that what we talked about and will talk about in this episode is what I'll write for the new book... and the title will also be the title of your talk show."

[The audience lets out a collective gasp of delight. A few people start clapping immediately, and someone in the front row shouts, "I'd read that!" The camera captures Minty looking genuinely touched and honored.]

Iboni: "And to answer your question, I'm moving towards the real-life experience."

[A supportive murmur ripples through the crowd. You can see people nodding—they've clearly been moved by your real-life 'denim jacket' stories and are excited to see that grounded honesty applied to your faith.]

Iboni: "But it's not absolute though! We'll see in the future if I'll stick with it in my future works."

[The audience laughs warmly at your flexibility. A few people give you an encouraging thumbs up, clearly happy to follow your pen wherever it leads.]

Minty: "Iboni, you're making me blush! To have this conversation—this moment right here—become the foundation of your next work... that is the ultimate tribute to the power of dialogue. And I love that you aren't locking yourself into one box. 'It's not absolute'—that's the mark of a true artist."

[Minty beams at the audience, who are now buzzing with excitement about the upcoming book.]

Minty: "So, if the book is titled Minty Talks and it's rooted in real-life experience, let's talk about the Main Character. In the memoir, the character was processing pain. In this new story, the character is sharing a Testimony."

Minty: "My next follow-up is this: Writing about pain is often a solitary act—it's just you and the page. But sharing a testimony is a social act—it's about the people listening. Does the thought of writing for an audience you want to reach change your process? Are you writing more for the you that was an atheist seven years ago, or for the you that is standing in the light today?"

Iboni: "Writing for an audience that I want to reach change my process? Maybe? Maybe not, we'll see how the Holy Spirit will guide me with that one."

[The audience stays very still, a few people closing their eyes and nodding. There is a sense of deep respect for your willingness to be a vessel for the story rather than trying to control every detail.]

Iboni: "Am I writing for the atheist me back then? Yes. For the me standing in the light today? Also yes. Both. I am writing for them both. And I am writing for all of my readers as well."

[A soft, warm murmur of "That's beautiful" ripples through the crowd. You can see people from all different walks of life—young fans, older viewers, the religious and the skeptical—all feeling included in that statement.]

Iboni: "I know that we all have been in the dark in some seasons of our lives and is longing for the light to shine their path; their world. Just know that you are not alone and even I still need the wisdom of God even though I am already walking in the light."

[The studio is thick with emotion. One woman in the second row wipes her eyes, and a young man nods slowly as if he's heard exactly what he needed to hear tonight. Then, a slow, steady clap begins—starting with one person and growing until the entire room is standing once more.]

Minty: (Her voice full of warmth)"Iboni, that is the most inclusive and humble definition of a testimony I have ever heard. You aren't standing on a pedestal looking down; you're reaching back into the dark to hold the hands of those who are still walking through it."

[The audience cheers, a mix of whistles and rhythmic clapping. The unity in the room is at an all-time high.]

Minty: "The idea that even those in the light still need wisdom... it takes the pressure off all of us to be perfect. It makes the journey about relationship, not just reaching a destination."

[Minty turns to the camera, gesturing toward Iboni with a look of immense pride.]

Minty: "Folks, we came here to talk about books, but we're leaving with a roadmap for the soul. Iboni, thank you for being the first guest on Minty Talks and for setting the bar so incredibly high."

Minty: "That's all the time we have for tonight, but I have a feeling this is just the beginning of a much larger story. Be sure to look out for Iboni's new work, Minty Talks, where this very conversation becomes the spark for a new light."

Minty: "Until next time, keep choosing goodness, keep moving toward your prophecies, and remember—you always have a choice not to pass on the pain."

[The jazzy music swells to its final, triumphant peak. Minty and Iboni stand and share a warm, lasting hug. The audience is cheering, waving, and even a few are seen wiping tears as the camera pans out to a wide shot of the vibrant, glowing set.]

Minty: "Goodnight, everyone! We'll see you in the next chapter!"

[The lights dim to a soft golden hue as the screen fades to black.]
