For a moment, she lost consciousness, unsure of where she was. It felt like a century had passed, yet only an instant, as a massive impact shook her body, making her organs seem to shift or shatter. She just felt a metallic taste in her throat, as if there was fresh blood, which she forcefully suppressed but couldn't help but groan.
The plane bounced up from the violent collision, and after a few seconds, landed again and skidded a long distance accompanied by a series of explosions.
Her body stiffened, as if the whole world had left her, and only the feeling of the man holding her from behind was so clear, giving her a moment of peace amidst the turmoil.
Finally, the plane came to a halt.
She couldn't believe she was still alive, and the cockpit was silent until after a moment she heard the captain yelling, his voice hoarse and desperate: "Emergency evacuation! Emergency evacuation!"
