Tingye refused without thinking, looking at Dan Hanjie as if he were guarding against a thief.
Daddy is a bad guy, he must want to steal Mommy away, so he's tricking me into crying.
Once I cry, I won't be good, and Mommy won't love me anymore.
As a momma's boy, Tingye rolled his big eyes, lay down on the grass, and played dead.

Dan Hanjie stared in shock as the usually clean-loving little rice dumpling plopped directly onto the grass.
He reached out to grab his little collar and lifted him up.
His dark eyes narrowed; there wasn't a hint of tears in the little guy's expression, just pure joy.
Good grief, when vying for attention, his tears would flow so happily, looking as pitiful as could be.
Now when asked to cry, he's smiling like a blooming flower.
Dan Hanjie gritted his teeth.
"Daddy, hold me!"
The little guy immediately extended his small arms, hooking onto his neck as soon as he sensed Dan Hanjie's displeasure.
