The school had closed for the day, Charlotte was outside with Adam they were walking home before Princess interrupted them.
"Hi Adam, can I go home with you."she said sheepishly looking down gently
"No, why?"he asked briefly
"My driver's at the mechanic repairing the car, because it's faulty."said Princess
"Oh I see. You can get a cab anyway."said Adam frankly
"Oh really,"asked Princess unimpressed
"Yeah."he said
"I thought we're going the same direction."said Princess looking intently at him
"I can't help you princess because I'm taking Charlotte home."he replied firmly
"Oh I see, can't she go home herself."asked Princess sneering, looking at Charlotte annoyed
"It's fine Adam you can take her home."said Charlotte softly
"No. I am taking you home myself."he said adamant, holding her hands firmly and Princess was vexed at the situation. Charlotte turned to move with Adam before Princess stop her.
"Wait. Charlotte what happened to you cause I know you're fine."she asked pretending
"She's a little bit down so I need to take her home."cut in Adam
"I didn't ask you Adam."she said disapprovaling and turned to Charlotte "What happened between you two I heard the rumors."she continued eyes twitching looking at Charlotte slylishly
"Oh please you started the rumors."said Charlotte returning the gaze back at her
"You thought I did?"asked Princess sneering
"I didn't think so I knew you did."said Charlotte eyes glaring with anger
"Yeah I did."said Princess smiling coyly
"What Princess?"surprised Adam
"Yes I did," said Princess red in face and turned to Charlotte "Aren't you ashamed of yourself you like Caleb and now Adam."she blorted out angrily at Charlotte
"What?"said Charlotte taken back
"Yeah, you like the attention why don't you pick Caleb and leave Adam out of it. You slut."said Princess arm crossing facing her squarely
"How could you said such a thing about me?"screamed Charlotte and she slapped her hard on the face
"What my face, how dare you!"the two girls started fighting. Adam was speechless at Princess outburst, he tried to separate them before Caleb came running with Idris. Vivian was surprised at the commotion, she was looking from far she couldn't come closer and she left the premises with her driver
"What's wrong guys?"asked Idris breathlessly
"It was Princess, causing trouble again."said Adam dumfounded at her actions
"You again."said Idris sternly
"She was the one started the rumors,she confessed it some minute ago isn't it Adam?"said Charlotte turned to Adam
"Yes it was Princess that was spreading the rumors all over the classes."said Adam
"What Princess?" said Caleb looking at her disbeliefing "And what do you want to gain from it?" asked Caleb annoyed
"She likes Adam it was obviously. That's why she was sabotaging me."cut in Charlotte looking at Princess disgusting.
"I see."said Caleb looking at Princess wearily. She was looking down and couldn't raised her face upward towards them
"It's okay Charlotte," said Idris and turned to Princess sternly "We shall report you to the principal if you don't stop this nonsense now."said Idris sternly
"Yes we will. "said Caleb agreed
"I myself will report you to your parents."said Adam threatening
"What?"asked Princess mouth gasping
"You think I can't do that?"said Adam looking at her frankly
"Please don't report me to my parents."said Princess pleading with Adam
"Apologize to Charlotte now, if you don't want me to report you."said Adam softly
"I'm m m sorry."said Princess stammering and Charlotte was looking at her uncertainty
"We can't hear you." said Caleb
"I'm sorry Charlotte."said Princess lamely her eyes down
"So please stop the rumors and stay away from me, Charlotte and others I'm warning you for the last time."warned Adam sternly
"I will,"replied Princess meekly
"Understood?"said Idris angrily
"Yeah I'm sorry guys."said Princess and she left the place ashamedly
"I never knew she was capable of doing that to someone that attended her birthday party."exclaimed Idris disgusted
"I am sorry Charlotte, I believe the rumors will stop now."said Adam patting her gently
"Thank you." smiling at Adam warmly and turned to others "Thank you guys, I really appreciate."said Charlotte cheerfully and they all left the school premises.
Adam's driver dropped Charlotte at her house and she came down from the car.
"Thanks Adam. Goodbye"she dropped from the car and waved goodbye to him
"You're welcome Charl, goodbye."he said and waved back at her smiling softly
In the evening inside Charlotte's bedroom, her sister Deborah walked inside the living room humming softly
"Hi Charl how was school today?"asked Deborah brightly
"It was fine,"she said shrugged
"Just fine? You sound unhappy are you okay Charl?"asked Deborah looking at her suspiciously
"I am fine Deb,"replied Charlotte nonchalantly
"I don't think you're, so split. I'm listening."said Deborah tickling her hands
"Deb stop, I said, I'm fine."said Charlotte laughing
"If you don't tell me I won't stop."said Deborah frankly
"Okay I will."said Charlotte finally and Deborah sat up happily
"Now you're talking Charl,"said Deborah grinning
"Okay Deb,"she said smiling face. Charlotte explained everything that happened at the school today to her sister about princess blackmailing her and the rumors
"Whoa you being princess did all that to you?"asked Deborah astonished
"Yeah I knew she was the one that could spread that rumors. No other person but her."said Charlotte softly
"Whoa. And she even confessed that to you what a wicked girl."said Deborah angrily
"Yeah."said Charlotte
"The funniest part and you went to her party after what she did to you "said Deborah
"I thought she was really sorry when she begged me. I never knew she was a leopard who can never change."said Charlotte vividly
"Hmmm, now you know her true colors."
"Yeah." said Charlotte
"The annoying part, she likes Adam and she was sabotaging you so that she will be out of the picture."said Deborah eye's widened "What a slyly fox."said Deborah laughing
"Thank God she has been exposed now everyone will know who she's now."replied Charlotte
"Thank goodness."said Deborah triumphantly
"Yeah even Adam has warned her to stay away from him and his friends."said Charlotte
"He did?"she asked
"Yeah he warned her. He said, I would report you to your parents if you don't stop the rumors and act."replied Charlotte
"That's good."said Deborah
"I never knew Vivian will believe the rumors over our friendship. I thought she trusted me."said Charlotte displeased
"It's not her fault Charl, just forgive her please."said Deborah pleading,
"I have forgiven her."said Charlotte
"You're a good friend. Let's go and sleep. It's late already."said Deborah yawning and she jumped on the bed
"Okay,"replied Charlotte . She got up to off the light beside the bed stand and she on only the lamp. she climbed the bed beside her sister and dozed off.
The week has already come to an end, some of the students were bustling around happy it was Friday
"Good morning students."said the class teacher softly
"Good morning ma'am."chorus the students
"I hope you're all prepared for your cultural dance next week?"asked the class teacher
"Yes ma'am."replied everyone
"Good, so let's make it a remarkable one."said the class teacher and everyone shouted happily.
