He had snapped in the middle of someone talking and giving their motion, which was weird because everyone on this council, save for the Afshin quad and Prince Cassius, was his friend and acquaintance.
They were people who supported every little terrible thing he did. Perhaps that was why everyone was wearing a confused face as they hurried outside, leaving the five men in the throne room.
Even the guards had been shooed out.
Five minutes later, there was a drowsy prince, a custodian, a Merdel Lycan, and two members of the Afshin quad staring at each other, like there was more to this, but they didn't even know where to start.
Which was creepy as hell.
