Steam arose from the steel floor. Rifles adjusted straight at both Asahi and Splinter. They had only a small window to fire. If they wanted to move away and run, they had to do it quickly. First, they fell silent, leaning over and hugging the right wall.
"We mean no harm," Asahi said with Splinter's voice.
"Yeah, tell 'em." Said Splinter, crouching and trying to hide.
As they crept forward, their footsteps echoing against the cold steel floor, the rifleman's voice rang out sharply, cutting through the thick haze of steam and tension.
"Return and cease all your belongings, trespassers!"
Of course, Asahi and Splinter hadn't listened. They kept moving forward, causing the guards to target them.
"I said move away from this place at once. Or else, you get eliminated."
