I couldn't sleep. I tried. I was debating medicine, but I didn't have the courage. The sheep never stayed so I could count them either. Everyone but me was already asleep. Samuel, mom and dad.
My mind was racing about what would happen tomorrow. What could even happen? New friends maybe? Old ones for sure. I could only really guess what tomorrow will bring.
I drifted in and out many times. Doing so I ended up finally closing my eyes and keeping them closed.
I had finally fallen asleep.
