Master Puti had shown Sun throughout the temple. Sun was amazed at how this temple was built with a white, red, and gold theme. From then on Sun started training with Puti to master all of the elements of the earth
"You need to master all of the elements first it is very simple training." Master Puti said with a devilish smile.
"So where do I-" Sun Wukong was cut off as he smelled something smoking.
"I've set you on fire using your Inner Qi to control it and remember to concentrate if not you will die." Master Puti explained with great haste.
At first, Sun started panicking but that wasn't gonna stop him from becoming strong. So he got into a meditative stance and started channeling his inner qi to his right arm as to where the fire was.
"Good now do it out of a meditation state." Master Puti said before making the flamers hotter.
Sun's eyes popped open before yelping, and so Master Puti had thrown him into a nearby pond.
Sun had already known to swim so it wasn't a problem to get out of the pond.
"You need to learn concentration, you will not always have the time and place to meditate during a fight." Master Puti had explained
"But that was some good inner qi control let's do this again." Master Puti continued with his lecture.
"Again?" Sun Wukong replied
"Yes, we are going to do this for all of the other elements." Master Puti said.
Sun Wukong had grown pale at the thought of training like that but he calms his nerves and decides to continue.
"Okay set me on fire again!" Sun said with determination
This training had continued for 7 years until he mastered all of the elements. Fire, water, earth, and air, all under his control but this was not the objective of Master Puti at all.
"Good you learned to master all of the primary elements and long with perfect Qi control. So it's time to learn your first technique." Master Puti amassed what they were going to do next.
"This technique is called the 72 Bian. The technique needs absolute perfect qi control or you will never use it correctly." Putin said will a serious tone.
Sun was listening closely, he wanted to learn, and paying attention was the best way even for himself.
"You will need to spread your Qi to all parts of the body and then think of any wildlife." Putin said to explain the technique.
"Think of any wildlife." Sun kept muttering to himself before channeling his qi very quickly.
And POOF!
Sun had turned into one of the wolfmen he had killed when he was young. He did not notice any change at first until he looks at his hands.
"WHAAAAAT??" Sun had shouted out
And again POOF!
"The screaming had interrupted your concentration but even so you cannot stay in those forms forever until you get perfect control." Putin had said while trying not to laugh.
So Sun spent the next 3 weeks perfecting the technique.
"Okay time for your final lesson, this one will be hard." Putin said with a serious complexion
"You will learn how to jump far in one single jump." Putin said
Sun had started to burst out laughing it was just a jump how could it be that serious.
THWACK!
"TAKE THIS SERIOUSLY YOU MONGREL." Putin had shouted.
"Any way you already have perfect Qi control but you don't know how to control exactly how much you using." Putin said
"You will have spars with me constantly using your Qi." Putin said
"Okay old man let's see what you got." Sun had responded.
"No need to be so cocky you monkey." Putin had said with a smile.
Sun grabbed his polearm that was stuck to the ground nearby and charged with his Qi intact of his arms. Putin had dodged the incoming blow and countered with a punch that Sun caught. Sun did a sweep attack with his Bo(polearm) that Puti had jumped over and landed on his Bo. Puti sent a flurry of kicks to Sun's head in which he could not dodge until he sent Qi to his tip of his Bo. Puti responded with a jump kick that Sun dodged.
"You don't know how to fight without your polearm and that is your problem when it comes to fighting properly." Puti said while punching Sun.
Sun had to up his game in which he dropped his polearm giving him a disadvantage, but it didn't matter since Puti kept countering his polearm strikes. Sun charged at Puti with a punch feint to a knee to the face that connected. Sun then plucked out one of his hair strings creating a clone of himself.
"Oh? and where did you learn that?" Puti asked while cleaning the blood off of his nose.
"The monkeys into a nearby mountain made me find that out on accident." Sun replied
"You shall train that as well then." Puti said.
Sun had thrown his clone over to Puti, in which the clone and kicked him. Puti had grabbed the clone and tried punching it but it felt.....
"Really?" Puti said while Sun grinned.
He had tricked Puti and sent his real self to buy time while his clone was behind him. Then Sun punched Puti bringing him over to his clone to which the clone kicked him square in the jaw and sending him over back to Sun.
Puti had stopped himself with his hands did a flip and went to Sun with a roundhouse kick that landed.
POOF! the clone has disappeared
The two were about 10 ft. away from each other they both stood up and had a staredown.
Then suddenly...
"PFFFAHHAHAHAHAH" Sun started laughing
"NO DONT MAKE ME LAUGH AAHHAHAHA" Puti had started laughing too.
"Man, that was fun!" Sun tried to say while continuing to laugh
"It sure was!" Puti had also tried to contain his chuckle
These spars continued for the next two months until during the middle of a spar Puti had stopped Sun.
"You are ready Sun, channel your Inner Qi to your legs and JUMP!" Puti said with a loud tone to emphasize how hard Sun needs to jump.
Sun quickly spread his Qi to his legs and with all of his strength.....
BOOOOM!
Sun left a crater to where he was before he launched himself to the sky.
The disruption worried the other Monks and Cultivators at Puti's temple, Puti reassured them that everything was fine.
By the time Puti came back to the training spot, He could see Sun coming down at a very fast pace. Sun was coming and fell flat on his face. He knew he wasn't going to land well but protected himself with Qi.
"Pfhehehe" Puti had chuckled a bit
Unknown to Puti, Sun had a great sense of hearing, pulled himself up, and started berating his master.
"Well that's it, oh and don't forget that you can control certain things if you wrap your Qi around it like a net. It is a very basic technique that can be very useful. This is the end of your training Sun, do not be a show-off, and promise me to not say who you learned from. Okay?" Putin said.
Sun nodded while listening to him.
"Good, goodbye Sun Wukong."
-Meanwhile-
???: What is your report on this magical stone monkey that had immense Qi Power?
"Nothing sir, he suddenly disappeared from our eyes and area." A noble had responded
"The monkey would already be dead then, this matter is closed it is not a threat." ??? said.
-Back to Sun-
Sun had woken up, still in the same forest that he met the woodcutter.
"W-what?" Sun had many questions but he can only deduce a time trance of some sort. But he still had his 3.48 ft muscular body and felt his mastery. It was strange but he was glad that he had a chance to be taught. Overall he had gained-

That was pretty much it but it was enough to stand a chance in a fight. Sun was truly grateful to his previous Master and Master Puti. Those were currently the only two people he was willing to protect. He has a plan on where to go next as well. During his nearly 8 years of training, one of the fellow cultivators had said something about the Eastern Dragon King's treasures. So in search of a weapon Sun had made a self-made raft and kept going east until he met a very large ocean.
Sun jumped in and since he had control over water Sun could breathe underwater. After a while of swimming, he sees a very large entrance made of wood and golden engraving on it. After he swam into the entrance he was met by a few guards.
"My king some kind of person is at the entrance do we let him in?". A knight of high ranking had asked the Dragon King.
"No do let him in." Dragon King or Ao Guang said.
Sun had been told that he was not allowed in the kingdom.
"No, I'm going in either way." Sun had told one of the guards
"But you have been denie-." The guard got cut off as Sun made his way through up to the palace room.
There he was met with spears aiming at his neck, torso, and both of his legs.
"I insist that the Dragon King meets a fellow King himself." Sun had implied.
This sentence caught the Dragon King's ear and Ao was curious and told his men to stand down.
"Well then welcome to our Kingdom uhh.." Ao Guang had not learned his name yet.
"My name is Sun Wukong, I have learned of your many treasures and I was wondering if you had a weapon to spare." Sun had said with a friendly tone.
Ao quickly realizes that Sun was formidable and begins hospitality.
"Go get him a weapon." Ao said to one of his squires.
Sun had tested weapon after weapon after weapon and he rejected all of them.
"Well we have one more but if it does not suit you I'm afraid I don't have what you request." Ao said with his determination to help out another king.
With almost perfect timing a noble himself.
It was almost as if the weapon was shining. It was a golden polearm that belonged to the Dragon King.it was engraved with black and golden markings with Taoist Letters on each end of the pole. It also had chains in the middle allowing them to become nun-chucks.

"I see this one catches your eye it is called the golden banded staff Ruyi Jingu Bang./Ding Hai Shen Zhen." The Dragon King had explained the origin of the weapon while Sun had tested it out.
"Even I could not wield the weapon as you do so this weapon now belongs to you." Ao said.
"I am truly grateful." Sun said.
"I notice your clothes, Sun do you need wealth and power?" Ao questioned his legitimacy
"No, I choose to live like this because wealth is not important as long as I live I can get anything I need." Sun had responded from the deepest part of his mind
"I see, I respect you for such wise words." Ao was shocked at what Sun had to say.
"For those kind words I shall give you another gift on my behalf." Ao said.
He called the other Dragon Kings here and asked if they had any spare clothing with defensive properties. The Dragons said they did but they don't fit them anymore. After all it was clothing they used from when they were kids. The Dragon King accepted their spare clothing and Sun received a Golden Chain Mail shirt, a Phoenix-Feather Cap, and Cloud Walking Boots.
"Again Dragon King I am truly grateful but why are you doing this for me? I only requested for a weapon." Sun said.
"A King needs to establish alliances with others to achieve peace, plus I have many more treasures powerful than that." Ao said with a friendly tone.
Sun had left happy and grateful and decided to return to his mountain with the monkeys there.
(AN: I leave the imagination up to the reader since YOU are reading my story I will not always be accustomed to one thing but I had to do Sun some justice and give him a Golden Staff.)
Sun had returned to the mountain where the monkeys had greeted him again. Sun had shown off his powerful new weapon to them. The fact that Sun had even managed to lift the golden staff had many other kings impressed since the word had spread quickly that someone managed to lift it.
Soon a bird with a paper attached to it's leg arrived.

A: so probably five or six more chapters before I start journey to the west, then after that some multiverse travel (cuz why not?) but journey to west is kinda difficult to interpret so I decided to make my own. It will be maybe 30-60 chapters long depending on the pace of the chapters and how much I want to save myself from torment.
But yeah as much as I want to get this done we have to establish this origin alright cíao.
