Back in the room where Alice was staying, she and Azmodiel were enjoying a delicious meal with gusto. As much as he despised mortals, Azmodiel admitted that his food was a pleasure he couldn't forget; it helped to quiet one of the dark voices in his head.
After another bite and swallowing a juicy portion of meat, Azmodiel turned his attention to Alice. Alice's hair was still slightly damp because Katherine had forced her to shower as soon as she returned, which lent a peculiar charm to her appearance. However, Azmodiel's mind wasn't on Alice's current appearance, but on the servant who had been caring for her until now.
Considering that the lunar eclipse would take place that very night, Azmodiel decided to broach a subject he'd been thinking about for some time. "We'll soon be leaving this city."
