Little Daoist Su Chaoyang was incredibly excited. Her chubby little legs trotted eagerly after Ye Siyuan, and she would occasionally scamper ahead, hopping and skipping. Her beautiful, big eyes meticulously studied every detail of the palace's layout, assessing its feng shui, discerning auspicious and ominous signs—she looked every bit the part.
Ye Junqing and Ye Xinguang were returning from a walk on their private beach when they spotted Little Daoist Su Chaoyang, who seemed as if she had come from another world.
After a moment of surprise, Ye Xinguang nudged Ye Junqing. "Look at that child," she said. "She's dressed so adorably. Is that Liangliang or Xiaosu? Did they come back from a photoshoot and forget to change?"
Because they were far away, Ye Xinguang couldn't see Su Chaoyang's face clearly and, based on experience, mistook her for one of their granddaughters.
