Ye Feng didn't know much about Ye Taiqing; he only knew that Ye Taiqing's original name was Ye Deqing.
After losing a power struggle against Ye Yunfeng's father, the former Family Head Ye Deming, he was stripped of the generational "De" character in his name and subsequently renamed himself Ye Taiqing.
