After 10 years of leaving the Land of the Blessed Sun, Alex and the rest finally returned to it.
They arrived in a flash of teleportation, right back to the small peninsula to the southeast of the Black and White Continent. Their arrival was met with some surprise, as it wasn't always that a Patriarch of one of the Heavenly Beasts arrived through here.
"It's been more than 20 years since your master left, hasn't it?" the patriarch asked. "They must've recently activated the teleportation formation to the human realms. You might have to wait for some time."
Alex frowned. "Hopefully not."
"Don't worry, it's not always an exact 10 years," Bai Jingshen said. "The last time your master left, it was activated early, so they will have spent a lot longer this time around before activating it. There should still be some time."
Alex nodded.
"Let us return. I will ask Fulin to take care of that issue," the patriarch said.
