After resting comfortably for a while,
Su Ye got up from the bed.
How could he possibly let her go? He pulled her back, refusing to loosen his grip.
Su Ye jabbed her head into his chest.
"If I stay here any longer, I'm seriously going to die."
As soon as the words left her mouth, she got up, dressed, and stepped off the bed.
Su Qing, wearing only his inner robes, casually draped an outer robe over himself and stepped off the bed.
She had originally planned to check just how many marks on her body she needed to cover up.
But when she stood before the bronze mirror,
she saw her neck and the utterly ravaged state of her lips.
She froze. It was obvious there was no hiding this.
'Right, I'd better just stay in seclusion for the next few days. I'm not going out.'
Just as she was mulling this over,
Fei Chen's voice came from outside the door.
"Master, the Old Yang Family Master is here."
Su Ye froze, all thoughts of concealment forgotten.
