Chapter 5 - An Hollow Genius II

sLoud steps could be heard as Chang-min traversed the dungeon.

It was silent to silent for comfort.

The dungeon was a giant cave and supposedly it was a skeleton dungeon. But for the last 10 minutes, I haven't seen a single marking of a skeleton or heard them.

In a low voice, he quietly called out. "Status"

Name: Chang-min

Age: 14 (80 Soul)

Race: Human and ?????

Status: Normal and ?????

Strength: 19

Agility: 19

Endurance: 19

Skills: ????? and LOCKED

(A/N: The average stats is 10 for men and 8 for women)

Nodding my head I feel satisfaction looking at my stats.

'This is the limit so far.'

Walking forward for about 10 minutes I start to question.

'Where are all the monsters?'

'Are the tower dungeons and the dungeons here different?'

Walking I come to a stop as an opening in the cave appears.

Slowing my steps down I see that it's a cliff. Looking over the cliff I see a horde of them all bowing to a king of sorts.

This skeleton king was at least 4x bigger than them with a robe and a hat of a priest. On his side, he had a wand and sat on a throne made of dark material. He exuded a powerful aura as he looked down at his subjects. On his side, there were two skeleton knights. One of them had a sword and shield while the other had a spear. they were covered in this armor made out of the same dark material as the throne. They sat on this podium of sorts while the other skeletons all sat in awe because of their presence.

Noticing they didn't see me I look around and scout my terrain.

'Rocks and various other things that I can use to maneuver. I should be able to take care of them quite easily within this terrain. I already see cameras so they're gonna observe our battles. I better go ahead and show out then.'

As I start backing away from the cliff I get about 50 feet away.

I do some light stretches as I bend down I can feel the stone beneath my feet pushing downward.

*ZOOM*

'I can run as fast as 45 mph'

Running forward I quickly jump off the ledge. I cross a lot of distance as the clearing and the skeleton room are pretty wide but small from up there.

Looking down I quickly put my feet outward to land.

*boom*

As dust flew everywhere I can't help but grin and look around. As my gaze lands on the skeleton king, he looks right back at me.

"Hate to steal the spotlight from you but I'm here to kill you."

Not understanding my words was one thing but hearing the mockery and tone of voice I used utterly pissed him off. A king receiving this disrespect? UNFORGIVABLE!

As he roared he pointed straight at me.

As if an order was sent out all the skeletons started pulling out their weapons.

(A/N: Even tho the monsters are in a dungeon they still have an inventory of sorts. That's why loot drops after killing them.)

looking at the horde of skeletons I can't help but feel anticipation for this fight. As I do light stretches I crack my hand against my palm.

"Let's go you maggots"

Rushing towards a skeleton that didn't pull out its weapon in time I jump and while in the air I spin and kick its head off in the direction of a skeleton. As the head hits the wrist of the skeleton the sword that it had dropped.

Rushing in its direction before it can fully comprehend what happened I punch it in its ribcage shattering it.

Grabbing its arms I use them as batons as I destroy skeleton after skeleton.

'More this isn't enough I need more

Destroying more skeletons I notice them starting to combine into one giant one.

As it smashes down on me I can't help but marvel at the speed it showed. As I do a backflip I put my hand on the ground and push down then upward pushing me back a few meters.

My right-hand grabs a skeleton bone and I get into proper stance as I throw it using full strength.

Instead of being hit it absorbed the skeleton bone.

Noticing that I quickly try figuring out what else to do.

'Aw, what the hell.'

Ignoring my predicament I start running towards the giant.

It's about 5 meters tall but that isn't a problem.

Realizing I'm running towards it, It starts to make itself smaller while making its arm gigantic using the extra skeleton bones.

"Smart skelly"

As I slide under the small space under the arm it quickly starts to smash downward.

I use my left leg and the force pushing me forward to go quickly to the right.

*BOOM*

Laying its fist on the ground and realizing it missed it quickly follows up by raising its hand again upward but it starts to fall backward on its back.

'Finally, no way that skeleton body could hold up that big arm for long.'

The skeleton soon realized that it couldn't support the weight of the giant arm and tried to hurriedly even out its body again.

'No way in hell am I letting that happen.

As I roll on my back and push myself off the ground on my feet I start running forward.

Jumping up high I see the giant skeleton in full glory.

"LEEROOOOOY JANKINS"

I put my feet outward and start heading towards the stomach of the skeleton.

Smashing through it a giant hole seems to be in the place I tore through.

Smashing left n right inside the skeleton it soon broke down as it was missing too many pieces of itself.

As the skeleton king continued to look on at the human it couldn't help but show its shock.

Chang-min sat on a mountain of bones as his original blue eyes were gone completely covered by a red hue.

"Dead skelly"

Looking up a devilish grin appeared on the spear skeleton knight's face.

Turning my head slightly to the side I see the king and the knights once again. Hopping off the mountain I start to walk up the podium. A single knight greeted me. The spear knight.

Looking up I and the spear knight locked eyes for several moments before we both struck out with our fists.

With our fist colliding I got pushed back 2 steps and it got pushed back 3.

"This is going to be fun."

Running towards the knight it pulled out its spear and did a light slash. That light slash was nothing short of deadly tho.

Looking at the slash coming towards me I dodged backward and put my hands on the ground doing that motion I push downwards then up. Doing that I was able to get some space from the knight but the knight is in a favorable position.

'The spear is a deadly weapon that's for sure.'

Going through the memories I've received about the dungeon I notice that we only have an hour time limit. It took him 27 minutes to reach this stage.

'Were we even expected to clear this dungeon? Well, it doesn't matter let me just try my best.'

Rushing forward the knight did a stab towards me.

I dodge and grab the pole of the spear. The knight tried releasing it from my grip but I wasn't gonna let that happen. As I lifted the spear and the knight I put it above my head as I slammed down with all my strength.

Looking at the skeleton that is laid on the ground an undescribable feeling starts to emerge.

As I raise my foot I step on the knight's head. Those steps turn into stomps as I go harder and harder. 'Trash'

Seeing that the knight was defeated so quickly I can't help but shake my head as I turn to look back at the other knight.

I feel energized. Everything is becoming slower and slower but I don't know why.

Looking at my skills my eyes went large.

'Op'

But before I could even comment on anything else I felt a subtle wind tickle me as my head leans back and a sword hits the place I once was.

'I can't be in my own world where I'm in a battle.'

Turning my head to the side My skills all seem to activate but the reddish hue in my eyes seemed to have disappeared. As I did a spin using the force from me leaning back I quickly turned that into a kick that slammed into the side of the knight.

'What is this feeling. I feel so perfect.'

It was like nothing clouded his mind but the fight on hand. The sword knight got sent a couple of meters back and hit the ground but it quickly recovered and landed right back on its feet. Its head seemed to have tilted to the side as if interest started to appear.

But what freaked out Chang-min was the fact it did that whole process without dropping its sword once. It was like it was a part of him.

Laughing lightly he looked at the skeleton once more.

'This might be more fun than I originally thought.'
