The Teng Snake was left dizzy by Yue Zhao's music, completely overpowered by it. Though its bodily defenses were remarkable, under Yue Zhao's relentless attack, it was covered in wounds, with almost half of its scales falling off, and its translucent wings entirely torn away, looking utterly pitiful.
However, Yue Zhao did not show any sign of mercy. His face was somewhat pale at the moment. The Teng Snake was capable of a mental attack, which, although not constantly usable, had struck Yue Zhao two or three times, causing his head to ache intensely, thus the pallor of his face.
The music he played was also exceedingly harsh, at least to the Teng Snake, it was unpleasant to hear. It was provoked into a frenzied state, to the point where, in its agony, it began to harm itself; many of the wounds on it were actually self-inflicted.
