The God's finally descended in all their radiant glory. Upon the lands on their heavenly territory. And as they did the entire human army started praying and fell to their knees as their one and only true saviour has personally descended to bring justice upon the heretics and unfaithful.
The King grit his teeth for what was about to come. He signaled Jay, Phoenix and Roy to follow him the extreme line where their territory overlap. As the God's themselves approach them. All the Heavenly gods had descended which included those who didn't want to participate.
As the Godess of water saw them she raised spheres of water into the air. The God of Death ignited his torch, the God of Darkness remained still and observing. The God of Chaos in his every shifting body laughed sincerely, the God of Time was neutral and the Godess of Peace was tolerant as she controlled her anger.
The King :
How did you like my little gift. I especially prepared this for our reunion. Has it been a millenia since we last saw each other.
The flame which was blazing blazed even more intensed. As if now he was going to use the torch on the King.
God of Death :
You wanted war. You shall have it. But we shall set the terms.
King :
State your conditions then.
God of death discussed his conditions with the other gods.
While the deformed mass of chaos grew a pair of eyes and mouth with controlled chaos smiled. And within the next seconds those same were replaced by floor tiles and running crude oil mixed with sand.
Death :
This true battle will be fought on the celestial battlefield. After the battle on the land concludes.
The only ones who can enter the celestial battleground are minimum those ranking on part with regional Gods.
Jay interjected the God of Death.
Jay :
Why involve humans on the land then.
The God of Death who was patient at first raised his torch and tried to smash Jay's head with it swiftly. But Jay's instinct reacted and he saved himself from an overhead smash by shifting to the sides.
Death :
Unworthy fool, how dare you interject me the Personification of Death.
Jay :
I'm damned by your Abyss Lord anywayd. What's the most you can do.
The God of Death activated his deathly aura which brings extreme fear. At first Jay's hands started shaking as a result of fear. His feet quaking, his heart beating faster than ever.
And his mind on the path of flight. But he quickly activated the state of no emotions which he displayed back at the demon War.
Everything stopped as Jay's emotions were killed. Now what stood before him was almost a lifeless person capable of not exhibiting a single emotion.
Jay :
Your uneasiness, is quite a reassuring sign for me. You are wasting your time as a god of death, death threats should be accepted as a sign without you needing to say yourself.

It can be taken as a sign that despite being Death itself. You doubt yourself. That is what my prediction tells me.
Because all the emotions were turned off, what remained was raw intelligence. Although the common sense would be to honor your opponent and remain in your line but Jay decided to agitate him so that he would make mistakes and illogical emotional decisions moving forward. Everything within his calculations.

Godess of Peace didn't take it as she crossed the territory and violated the treaty that none shall trespass each other's territory. And as she did the King defended Jay by putting his scabbard between his attack.
King :

The God of chaos sighed but as he did lubricant, bubbles and carrots spawned from within his mouth. With a hint of vinyl chloride. The Chaos God trespassed and dragged the Peace Godess with her into their territory.

The Godess of Water tried to calm down the tensions between the two parties.
Water :
You are afterall children, and if children make mistakes it is the responsibility of their parents to forgive their child. And you are our children after all.
Both the armies will march will initiate war after the war horn has been played by our faction.
While we will battle alongside them in the celestial battlefield where the strength of God's is tested in battle.

Jay knew that she referred to X. And normally it would have stirred many emotions within him. But now since he was an empty husk he felt nothing when he heard the name.

The voice in the wind disappeared as did the attack failed for he didn't knew that the Lord of Chaos was rooting for the Foundation to win.
The King returned to the camp. To see all of the soldiers rushing their duties as it was the final hour. Even if they had ample time they still would have rushed.
The mage faction were preparing their own equipment. From mortars to mana suppliers to summoning and emergency teleportation by inscrihing runes onto a metal slab as a receiver. But the runes looked different from what Maria had inscribed on the sword.
The foot soldiers were equipeed with floating boots, projectile launchers inscribed with runes for durability and maximum damage, joint protectors, Nano armor which can block sword strikes and bullets incredibly well. And can be deployed with the click of a button. Grenades which have toggelable settings according to need. Time of explosion, explosion and shrapnel expulsion rate. Deactivating when friendlies are nearby. Reuse when deactivated.
Portable water supply which converts mana into water when injected. The body armor has been inscribed with runes that teleport the subject to the pad when gravely injured.
But the downside is if a soldier is already standing on the pad to avoid conjoining it delays until a pad is available.
In regards with the downside a large number of pads have been deployed to minimize the risk.

What made him an anomaly is that he is able to create a hive mind by dividing his consciousness into different vessel and grant them a purpose. Thus creating his own army. He can also take over other biological organisms who are very weak willed. Thus he plotted his takeover of the capital via androids. To turn over this takeover another individual loyal to the Foundation had her consciousness distributed in the same pattern. And a war took place over 13 days where all the androids were wiped out except for two. Belonging to the hosts.
And those became the base for sentinels. What remained was only one host which later inhabited the Sentinel series.
Who quickly helped rebuild the entire foundation from scratch.
