As the view from the town is getting smaller as it disappears as it passed through a small forest, there's a huge plain all around it with a dirt road for kilometers, the road is bouncing as the "engine" or the pipe blasting with air causing this vehicle named Chip to travel much faster.
While the air blasting towards us, there is no way of communicating while Kashi is focusing on the road. All the animals, such as horned rabbits and boars, just roaming in the plains.
As the sun goes down, suddenly the vehicle slows down as the green crystal dims. "Ughhhh" Kashi feeling frustrated knowing he should've brought an extra crystal. Then Kashi turns to Flame as he shrugs. "We should rest for today, it will be back by full power by morning." He added a note.
Flame doesn't know what to say, so he just shrugs it off. There is a giant tree in the distance as multiple stars illuminate as a night sky. Kashi sets up the camp by bringing the wood. Flame starts a fire on the chunk of wood, keeping us warm and light.
Kashi, who's been staring at Flame, wondering if he wants to say something but couldn't. So Flame shot him with a "what" by raising his eyebrow, expecting him to answer.
Kashi was startled, as he quickly showed the note as if he has already written it down. "Can you talk? Or read lips?" I can tell that he wants to make this conversation easier since the paper isn't going anywhere, plus they can run out.
Flame, of course, rolled his eye as if he was feeling offended. Kashi was perplexed as he wondered if he says anything wrong. Then Flame writes, "Can't talk but can read lips, don't ask me those types of question again." He moved to a unique spot hanging on the trees, away from Kashi.
After a minute of not talking, Flame went back to the same spot and writes "Well there's one method to make this communication easier." Kashi's eyes light up as he raises his eyebrows. Flame kinda wants to make things easier and less troublesome if something were to come up. He doesn't need to make anything unnecessarily hard. Flame then wrote, "Sign language."
Kashi doesn't know what he meant. All he could do is to tilt his head.
Flame starts to brag. "It is known for exchanging secret messages with no sound. Very useful for a stealth mission, and it also gives you greater creativity and problem-solving skill."
Although it is most true in some situations. Nobody outside of his clan knows about sign language, so they have a lot of advantages.
Kashi was extremely interested. He felt like he'll learn a lot even if it just a short while. "Can you teach me?" He asked, hoping Flame would approve.
Flame thought it about for a bit. What the harm of teaching someone for Sign Language? There isn't a taboo or a strict rule for teaching others. Besides it, it all started since he's little. Then he sighs as he nods. "Why not."
Although learning sign language is easy since they're the same language but for hands, they're still hard to master since it is all about memorizing. Flame only taught letters and numbers hoping he'll pick it up, and very few basic signs as hello, bye, etc.
After a while, it is getting late the paper filled with words, so there's no more extra paper so we have to rely on the hand and Kashi able to pick it up most of the thing. Although Flame knew that he'll forget overnight since nobody will remember him after seeing him once. Kashi seems to enjoy this.

By the next morning, Flame got up only to see Kashi working on Chip. The crystal starts shinning, so it is assumed the tank is full. Well, crystal has unlimited use but limit how much you can do in one go. It is a useful device regardless of how it looks. He jumps off the tree since he enjoyed sleeping on the tree, knowing it is safer up there and he can see on high ground.
Kashi who just noticed his presence offers a wave. Flame wave back. That's the first time he said like that but it's just a normal greeting. But then he started fingerspelling as he taught him last night. "It's full" It was very awkward, but he actually understood what Kashi meant. Although he remembers most of the letters, he forgot some, so Flame had to correct him.
It seems there's nothing to do, so we hop on the road, which is an hour ahead of us. If we're on the horse, it'll take a lot longer.
Flame been wondering that how does he build like that? Not a single blacksmith can build this complicated mechanism. Not anything to communicate while he focus on the road, he decided to hold it onto it later.
Suddenly there's a city that came into a view, an enormous castle with many residents' houses surrounds it. A vast city where not a lot of monsters that surrounds it is a perfect spot for them to settle in. As we approach towards the city, there are about 4-5 guards standing at the gate. Security isn't that bad since we saw them passing through easily. However, when they saw something unusual such as this vehicle, they'll stop you.
"Sir." halting us. As One guard inspects us. He is clearly interested in this design. Then ask "What you in here for? Circus? Hands full on that one."
Kashi, "Here for selling, You'll enjoy this. He climbs on the back of the seat as he opened his backpack as a silvery blue-green light shines it reflecting sunlight.
One guard was shocked due to the excessive amount of metal. "Mythril?? Let him in!" he yelled as they cleared the path. "You know where to go. Welcome to the City of Freedom" The guard waves at us, letting us in. Weird, since something is off about that guard.
Kashi nods as he hit the peddle.
As the guard said, This city is named Freedom after a king announces a new name for this city.
It all happens because of the disaster, a lot of rebellion, and many people have died as the old king was murdered. Of course, the news spread worldwide like wildfire. A year later, the new King declared this city as a new name, Freedom.
In all honestly, security like the guard is tight, but they let them in easily. Which is pretty interesting. If there's a gigantic monster which is probably rare, they might hold them off, but if there's an attack inside the city, they'll have a hard time.
Although this is a city, there a castle in the middle of the city assuming there are a noble and royalties. But there's no need to go in there since there is nothing for me to do here.
Upon arrival, there's some sort of shop in the city. Blacksmith. Although it is not popular as Dave's shop, this shop still works the best. Kashi told Flame to wait outside as he did.
While waiting only to suddenly a black hair with glasses carrying multiple books, running toward Flame as it about to collide. Flame Nimbly dodges.
She tripped herself, trying to avoid a collision. "O-owww!!" She let out some pain groan. Then she suddenly got up as she collects her books! "Oh no I'm still late, I'm sorry!" She bows down and leaves in a hurry.
Flame can only watch. People in this city are weird.
Flame spotted a book that she forgot to clean up. He looks at the path that she went but she already vanished. Then he picks up the book as it reads.
"Where Did The Phoenix Go?"
Flame doesn't know why but he felt a vague sense of familiarity in his gut. But he couldn't point out what it was.
