One of the Demon Kings who had initially been reluctant to get involved in the fighting cast a glance at Diablo, but the Devil King didn't respond to that or any of the gazes thrown his way, simply watching everything in silence with his arms crossed.
Casting a side glance at Diablo, Surtr sent him a telepathic message.

[I'm not plotting anything,] Diablo replied. [I never was.]
The Fire Giant King frowned at that response, but he didn't say anything, instead looking at Arthur as he was questioned by one of the far calmer Celestial Kings.

At Surtr's words, Arthur turned toward the Jotun, an eyebrow raised.
