Clyde couldn't help but let out a soft laugh. He closed the poetry book in his hand, setting it aside on the table before playfully pulling Ryley closer, tugging him right onto his lap.
"And here I thought you only cared about your favorite poet's work," Clyde murmured, leaning down to press a soft kiss against the silk draping down the blonde's shoulder.
Ryley let out a playful chuckle as he hooked his arms around the Alpha's neck, leaning in to close the distance between them.
But just as he was about to press his lips to Clyde's, he halted.
