In the garden venue of Westminster Cathedral, Vice-Director Saire of the Blood Tears looks up to see the red moon that has dominated the night sky for 1668 years, now surrounded by countless tiny yet dazzling stars.
To ordinary people, it's just casual chatter, but only the two Blood Moon clans who rule this land understand that it represents a shift of supreme power.
