The door opened, and Alvin pulled Nangong Lin inside, looking particularly excited, as if he had something great he wanted to share with her.
Sure enough, he ran over to the shoe cabinet, opened it, and took out a pair of pink ladies' fluffy slippers with a cute little rabbit on them.
"When I went to the supermarket to buy slippers last time, they had a promotion. Buy one pair of men's slippers and get a pair of women's slippers for free. They said they were couple's slippers," he said, pushing the slippers into her hands.
Nangong Lin: "..."
"And there's a towel!" Alvin said as he ran to the living room drawer, rummaging for a pink towel too.
He ran over and handed it to Nangong Lin.
Nangong Lin: "..."
"This isn't a couple's item too, is it?" Nangong Lin stared at the towel in her hand.
"No, I just thought it was cute and bought it. Just in case you came over to hang out," Alvin said, shyly lowering his eyes.
Nangong Lin didn't really know what to say.
