Chapter 4 - Knowninglymdump

now back fully guys

Long Chen lay on the thin bed, his new young body still aching. His eyes kept drifting to the woman sitting beside him — his mother.

Knowingly… unknowingly… I was just checking her out.

Why is this beautiful woman my mom?

She looked no older than thirty, with smooth skin, gentle eyes, and a figure that would make any man stare twice. Yet here she was, calling him "Chen'er" with that warm, worried voice. It felt wrong… and strangely comforting at the same time.

At that moment, an old man with a long white beard stepped into the room. He wore simple gray robes and carried a wooden medicine box. His eyes were sharp, full of concern and hidden wisdom. He looked at the boy on the bed and spoke in a deep, steady voice.

The old man's eyes closed for a moment as he felt the flow of qi in the boy's meridians. He moved his hand to rest lightly on Long Chen's lower abdomen, probing the damaged dantian with a faint trace of spiritual energy. A small frown appeared on his wrinkled face, but he said nothing and left.

The door clicked shut behind him.

Long Chen stayed silent, breathing slowly. While his mother wiped her tears and fussed over him, he quietly sorted through the flood of memories from the original owner of this body.

So this is the situation…

The original Long Chen had been the first heir to the throne of the Long Clan in Denver County. Everyone had high hopes for him — until the fight with his so-called best friend shattered his dantian. Now he couldn't even cultivate anymore. The spiritual energy in his body was scattered and blocked.

Now they can only choose another heir from my brother, he thought. Although in Denver County, the heir must be chosen according to the cultivation level.

A bitter smile tugged at his lips.

I can't even cultivate.

His stomach growled again, but this time the hunger felt distant. A new fire was already burning in his chest.

Old Long Chen was useless.

This new Long Chen… is going to rewrite everything.
