The crew members now leave Skypiea with Gan Fall guiding them. They sail through the white sea while talking with Gan Fall and Artemis's family. Sometime later they arrive at the exit gate and they go down a milky way.
"Everyone, be careful and enjoy your freefalling" Gan Fall waved to them with a big smile.
"OK, goodbye!" Lucy waved at him.
"Eh? What'd he say?" Sweat appeared on Nami's forehead.
"He said freefalling." Artemis smiled. "We will fall straight into the sea since there is no other way."
"Don't say that with a smile! If we fall like that, the ship will be wrecked and we will all die." Right when Nami say that, they arrive at the end of milky way. The ship hovering for a few moments and then they fall. Everyone feel their eyes left their socket.
The crew members clung to anything on the ship and were very scared while Ethan smiled and his daughters laughed happily.
Artemis wasn't worried at first, but after a while she noticed that the giant octopus she had expected hadn't appeared, making her face pale. She was not worried about herself, because her body could withstand falling from this height, and she was not a Devil Fruit user, so she would not drown, but she was worried about the crew members because they have a normal body, and most of them will not survive the fall from this height.
But after a few minutes, the speed of the ship's fall gradually began to decrease until it stopped falling and began to float in the air.
"Fyuuh, that's scary" Alvida wiped the sweat from her forehead.
"Hahaha, that's fun" Lucy simply laughed and didn't seem worried or afraid.
"I completely forgot that a ship can float." Nami sighed in relief.
"Freya, you should have reminded us. I almost died of fright." Makino looked at Freya with some reproach.
"It's not my fault that you forgot about the ship's ability to float on air." Freya smiled.
Kaya: "Why didn't you make the ship float earlier instead of making us fall for so long?"
"I'm the one who asked her to do this." All the girls looked at Ethan, demanding an explanation.
Some pictures appeared in Ethan's hands, "It's so interesting to see your reaction to this situation and I asked Freya to photograph you for the memory."
The girls got a little upset but they were curious about how they looked in the pictures so their annoyance disappeared and they took the pictures from Ethan.
Some of the girls started laughing at their reactions, but others were embarrassed and wanted to tear the pictures, but Ethan wouldn't let them.
"Artemis, I didn't expect you to be so afraid!" Nami looked at Artemis with a smile and started trying to tease her.
Artemis sighed, but did not explain that she was afraid for them and not for herself.
After a while the girls separate to do their own thing but most of them are just relaxing on deck doing nothing but watching Sora and Emily using their wings to fly around the ship and play.
In the anime, it took the Straw Hat crew an entire day to reach the sea, but the Black Pearl Freya reached the sea in only half an hour.
Everything was as usual until the ship started moving at full speed according to Ethan's orders, which made everyone amazed at the ship's ability to sail at such a high speed.
Ethan explains to them that the ship is ten times faster than before and that they will probably reach the next island in only a few hours.
After an 2 hours of sailing, three sea monkeys block their way, forcing them to slow the ship.
"W-what are those?" Chopper is surprised because she is the first hundred to see these creatures.
"Monkeys?" Sora tilted her head in wonder.
Emily: "N-no, it's sea monkeys"
Sora: "sea monkeys? There are monkeys in the sea too!"
"Yes, and sea monkeys are rather troublesome. They can create a big wave like tsunami that can swallow a ship." Emily saw these monkeys when she was very young when she was sailing with her mom and dad so she knows about them.
The girls overheard Emily's explanation but none of them were worried even Nami wasn't worried even though she knew big waves are dangerous and could sink the ship.
Just when Emily finished, a big wave emerged behind them, and there's three monkey face on that wave.
But suddenly the big wave disappeared and even the monkeys disappeared and reappeared inside the ship's aquarium.
Inside the aquarium, the monkeys looked around in confusion, when they saw a giant turtle, they felt fear, but when they turned to escape, they were greeted by a giant whale, many times larger than the turtles. After which the monkeys passed out from fear.
An hour later, a strange ship appears. It didn't have flag, sail, and the crew seem depressed.
Ann: "What's with that ship? It has no flag or sail at all. The crew also seem very depressed and down."
Zora: "Maybe they got an accident."
Kuina: "No, they look fine, and their ship also fine. Only lost sail and flag but it didn't get damage at all."
On the other side, the people aboard that ship saw the Black Pearl Freya.
Person A: "Hey, there's a ship!"
Person B: "Let's raid them, we will get rich!"
Person C: "Where's captain- Ah, he's gone"
Person D: "What should we do?"
When Ethan heard what they said he decided not to help them so he ordered the crew to ignore the ship and keep moving.
When they passed each other, Ethan controlled the sea water to create a very large wave behind them, then they passed that ship and continued moving forward.
The crew seem to be very confused at what they should do. It seems don't have captain and navigator so they don't know what to do. They finally got drowned by the wave.
Sanju: "They seem to be pirates, but they don't have navigator. They don't even have Captain or Vice-captain too."
Nojiko: "Why are they sailing then?"
Desire: "Who knows."
After a few minutes they reached an uninhabited island that had no town or even a village from what they could see.
Lucy, Ethan, Emma, Sora, Emily and some girls leave the ship to discover the island. The other stays on the beach where the ship is moored. There is no town here but the beach was beautiful so some of the girls put on their swimsuits and started having fun.
While they were exploring the island, some people appeared in front of them.
They're from Foxy pirates and they want to challenge them into a pirate game, Davy Back Fight. This will be a game where they bet the crew member, and only Captain can accept this game.
"What do you think about playing this game with us?" Captain Foxy spoke.
Foxy is a stout man with skinny arms and legs. He has almost a cleft lip-like mouth and a unique hairstyle, with his hair split into two spikes pointing upwards.
"We will not accept that game." Nami, who came with them to draw a map of the island, did not agree to play such games, not because she was afraid of losing, but she just wanted to finish drawing the map as soon as possible.
"Too bad but only captain can decide it. Crew member can't decide participation." Foxy rolled his eyes at Nami and then looked at Ethan with a smile, "If you don't accept this game, then you're a coward."
"That sounds fun! Daddy, let's try playing with them." Sora's eyes turned into stars.
Toki crouched down and looked into Sora's eyes seriously. "Sora, didn't you hear the rules of the game? If we lose, they'll take a crew member."
"Then all we have to do is not lose." Emily supports her sister in playing the game as she looks at Foxy with annoyance, "You'll regret looking down on us."
The thing Emily hates the most is when someone thinks he is better than her father and looks down on her father.
Ethan patted his daughters' heads, then looked at Foxy with indifferent eyes, as if the person in front of him was just a worthless insect ."well, we will play with you."
