Violet's P.O.V
"Grandmother!". Michael and I both yell synonymously, raising our hands up in the air. "Stop it and act your age. What if someone saw you like this?", her tone was stern but the smile on her face said otherwise. I just crossed my arms and pouted looking at the end of the hall where double doors are placed that leads to a balcony. I tried to focus my mind on how the light from the moon illuminated the flowers atop its railings while grandmother started her lecture-slash-rant about the event.
My eyes turned a bit red hearing her insults. It would be such a pleasure to carve her mouth out and the only words coming out of her lips is begging. "Grandmother, do you think they'll pull a stunt like that again about coming in uninformed?", I asked looking up at her. She let out a huff. "That girl has guts. She may do it again so you better be prepared for the worst.", she looked at me with worried eyes. I think she was also afraid of what the competition will do to me.
