Chapter 21 - 21 time skip and perks

The underground reset and i opened my eyes to see that i was back at the enterence to the underground.

Walking to toriels house i found no flowey and saw that toriel was reading a book so i sneaked into her house and made my way past her into the snowdin enterence.

Walking to papyrus' gate once i stepped on it sans appeared behind me and said "took you long enough i have most of the stuff you asked for but it will take another day if you want all the magical knowledge that i can get my hands on"

"Yes do that i will wait, in the meantime could you give me the books that you have now" i said.

"Alright let's go to my house i have the books there" sans said putting his hand on my shoulder while i hardened my skin just in case and he teleported us into his room.

Looking around its basically the same as in the game but there is a pile of books which i promptly touched and they disappeared into my inventory which would have surprised sans but he already saw my magic so he probably thought it was space magic or something like that.

"Just so you know there is nothing on teleportation magic since it's an innate magic to me so there is only theory stuff on that same with gravity magic" sans said drinking a ketchup bottle.

I just nodded and asked the system if i can read the books that i have in the inventory at which the system just showed me a perfect digital copy of that book.

"So where are you planning to stay at for the one day until i get everything?" Sans asked.

"I was planning on staying at your house for the day" i said.

"Sure but you are the one explaining to paps why there is a human in the house" sans said with a shrug before teleporting somewhere.

Opening the door to the living room i walk downstairs and see papyrus cooking spaghetti.

I greet papyrus and he just looks at me speechless, before he says anything i tell him that i am sans' friend and that he gave me permission to stay the night at which papyrus said that he will cook his famous spaghetti for a new guest, which he was already cooking.

I decided that i will just mostly relax for the day and level up skills like fast reading by reading the magic books that sans gave me without absorbing them and if i ran out of material to read i will just go on my phone and read something from there.

After papyrus was done cooking i ate it and we had a little chat, after that i started reading the books and the next day quickly passed and sans gave me the books in the morning at which point i went into the save where i am in the hotel and read the rest of the books.

These were the things i gained after reading and understanding all of the books (i had to read it at least thrice to completely understand it) and than i had to try out the magic in practice to gain the magic skill.

(A.n: when he read the whole book a window saying: understanding of x book {35.8%} when he gets the percentage to 100 it said he can now learn it)

These were all the types of simple magic i gained.

Sadly most of the books were on magic theory, the magic where it let's you see the soul is something all monsters have sadly there are only theories on why they have it, the magic spells that they use are just the simplest form of magic there is which is just controling a type of mana and releasing it and controling it.

they also had materialisation magic but i already had it, sadly.

'well that wasn't worth 15 days of work if i had just trained by normal means my job classes would level up at least 3 times faster and i could have learned those magics at the academy'

Sighing i go to the project zomboid world to train for the next 30 days.

At first i decided to try and increase my stats just by training.

First i went into a gym and made makeshift body weights with which i ran and tried to do Acrobatics at the same time.

(Without B.sacrifice he can almost lift 1,000kg, with it he can lift a bit more than 5tons/5000kg)

After about 8 hours of physical and acrobatic training i got + 1 str, agi and vit.

(By training the higher the stat the more time it takes to increase)

For the next 30 days i trained as much as i could be it stats, magic or skills i did it as efficiently as i could and with physical jobs i mostly leveled swordsman job.

(Everything besides stats will be updated straight into the status window at the end of the chapter besides important new things)

[Strength perks:

Perk: lifter: you can lift 3x as much as normally

Perk: pain to power: the more dmg you take the stronger you get

Perk: armour piercer(1): ignore 5% of armour when doing physical dmg]

'armour piercer is probably the best one since pain to power might not even do anything once i have total pain resistance'.

[Vitality perks:

Perk: physical sponge(1): ignore 5% physical dmg done to you

Perk energy sponge(1): ignore 5% energy dmg (QI dmg, mana dmg electric dmg and more)

Perk: bloodless: you no longer have blood thus you no longer require some of your organs (heart, lungs, veins and a few more)]

'hmm can't wait to get both of the sponge perks let's start with energy sponge first'

[Agility perks:

Perk: combo 10x: if you hit an enemy 10times without being hit and hitting the enemy within 1 second after each hit, your 10th hit does 2.5x more dmg (multiplicative with other dmg enhancing bonuses)

Perk: perfect motor control: when you move your body it moves perfectly how you tell it to move without any micro movement like shaking

Perk: double jump: you can jump on empty space once]

'as much as i want to pick combo 10x i will pick perfect motor control since i bet it will be great when making runes or something like that which probably needs insane amounts of precision'

[Perception perks:

Perk: mana sense: you can see and feel all types of mana around you my

Perk: skill: danger sense: know where danger is coming from 0.1seconds into the future. 1/100 rare.

Perk: micro vision: you can zoom down to the microbic level]

'mana sense is an automatic pick since it will let me see an enemies mana capacity, purity and density'

'it should also help with using outer mana'

Once i confirmed which perks i want my eyes and mind were assaulted with a bunch of aura which i presumed was the ambient mana in the air it was hard to describe but if i had to compare it to something it would be as if you could see every type of gas in the air and it was colourful, the most common "colour" of mana i could feel and see was neutral mana which was whitish grey.

Sitting on my bed i relax for the next hour until i get accustomed to the feeling of ambient mana but then a thought crossed my mind.

'i don't think the world of undertale has large amounts of mana since the only magical things are mostly in the underground where the game takes place. I wonder how much mana is in my world, well i hope it won't overload my brain or something'
