(sorry for uploading late)
Observing my surroundings while enhancing myself with every ability i can, i see that there are no enemies in the surroundings and i also see that this cave like system is very large and has many large rocks that someone could hide behind.
Casting a weak lightning bolt into the ground i pay attention to any movement or sound, but after 3 minutes of nothing i decide to go deeper into the dungeon.
At some point a creature that looks like a small mimic from prey but it had a more solid body and at the end of its tentacle like limbs it had some sort of small spike that secreted poison as it tried to impale me but failed miserably due to my body being as hard as mana hardened cobalt. (A.n: I know it's called venom but ama make poison and venom interchangeable)
Holding the lobster sized creature in my hand i bite off it's head and swallowing before extracting it's venom into a small vial and taking out the small spikes. One small 10mm vial goes for about 50 copper and one spike for 10copper (it has 2 of these spikes).
I test out a bit of my shape shifting and create small spikes at my fingertips that could secrete the venom.
Shapeshifting it back i try to transform and a tentacle with a spike grows from my back like a knock of kagune.
Turning back i go deeper into the dungeon and after one hour of blitzing tghourgh without any problems i find the boss room.
Entering i see unrefined pillars of stone and no enemy in sight but i grip my sword and walk forwards with a small magical structure around me it would not be able to defend me from anything but sneak attacks.
How you ask? Well i basically created thin materialisation rods around me that were connected to dome like structure that was encompassed 2 meters away from my body that was made from a lot of thin rods that were quite fragile so if somehow something here was sneaky enough to not be perceived by me then i would fool them once they came within 2 meters of me giving me enough time to blast them away or dodge to get past it you would need to be as small as a marble ball.
Why didn't i just use the mana shield or made the same thing with materialisation magic? Mostly training not with magic but creativity since my body is much tougher then a materialised shield holding 100% of my mana.
Once i stepped into the room i could see quite fast (around 25 agility) yet stealthy movement and a creature with scythe like arms and a carapace all over its body tried to cut off my head and i did nothing since i wanted to see how good my toughness skill is.
And i was not disappointed once the blade connected with my neck a loud metallic clang rang out and when i looked at the blade like arm it had some cracks on the point of impact.
Teleporting infront of it i shove my hand into its mouth and electrocute it until it dies.
After 5 hours i was at the entrance to the 40th floor out of 51 floors which was not as many as most dungeons had since this was quite new dungeon only about 50 something years old.
The enemies down here now were considered low A rank monsters (monsters are classified almost the same as adventurers in the guild) which was more then enough to give me a hard time if i didn't have toughen body and B.sacrifice which took me (physically vise) from a mid B ranker to a mid SS ranker but i don't think i could really fight with a top S ranker since they would have much more experience and even special skills, but i should win with a mid S ranker just by pure stat difference.
Getting ready for the boss of this floor i walk in and see about 4 shadow wraiths that looked like the ones from skyrim but made from shadow like substance and one humanoid creature that looked like a realistic enderman from Minecraft but it had a tail that had a venomous spike at the end.
I instantly shot down the wraiths with strong lightning bolts that should incapacitate them for at least 10 seconds.
With them from the battle and my mana reserves being 1/3 full i tried to cut it in half but it suddenly gained a lot of speed and dodged just short of my reach.
Just as it dodged it's tail stabbed at me and managed to penetrate my left arm just deep enough to inject the venom into my blood stream and made my arm feel sluggish.
I was surprised only a little bit by the sudden outburst of speed since it was stated that it uses this ability mostly when it knows it's about to die since it will leave the creature paralysed for some time depending on how long it keeps the ability active and if it is active for too long it will even damage the creature.
Materializing a rope around my arm and tightening it with my telekinesis so the venom won't spread i shot a lightning bolt with my remaining mana at its eyes blinding it temporarily i rush and start cutting the wraiths in half.
When they are dead the monster lunges at me trying to stab me again but this time i was ready and teleported behind the creature, surprising it greatly i cut it in half while using focused strike.
The creature falls into two pieces dead and before i can take a bite out of it i see two new windows pop up.
[Level up 41>43] (connor didn't level up much since when entering this dungeon he mostly tried too speed run into the lowest levels so he could farm exp there, so he ran past most monsters thus not leveling up much)
[New quest: dungeons worry: the dungeon feels threatened by you and thinks you will try to destroy it and will be sending more enemies your way when descending.
You decide what you want to do.
Rewards will be based on how you go about doing this quest.
Small tip: if you decide to complete this quest by just turning back and going away you will only gain 1silver coin
