"Wa-wa-wait pause," Alex interrupted, "Your telling me that your at least 140 years old right now?"
At this point of time his friends were called by his mother as she noticed they were listening and thought that they could also learn her story and how Alex came to be.
"Hmm? Yea why? It's still relatively young for our race because we are effectively immortal because of our inborn ability called Mana Rejuvenation," Algaia explained, as she continued, "And that's why all manarites are forbidden to have kids outside our own,"
Leslie then ask this time, "Then is Alex is also immortal?"
This also pique Alex's interest as he looked at his mother, waiting for an answer from her, she just sighed and said, "Just listen to the rest of the story, we are half way through."

"How are they?" Algaia asked Elder Evander, Elder Evander nodded to Phaenna as she nodded and started explaining.
"They are well now, no serious injuries besides that one man," Phaenna paused for a moment and continued, "They are currently asleep because of the medicine we gave them and should wake up in a few hours, besides the man with the fatal injury, he should wake up tomorrow between dawn and noon."
As she finished explaining, Elder Evander could be seen with proud eyes as his student explained it perfectly with out it being to complicated or to vague to be understood, "Nicely done Phaenna, maybe a few more years of polishing and you can finally graduate from my mentorship and become an official healer."
Naturally, Phaenna is ecstatic about this, she spend half of her life under Elder Evander and she is finally close to her goal of being a healer, Algaia is also happy about this as her best friend is finally close in achieving her life long goal.
Algaia is also naturally happy for her friend as she jump Phaenna, giving her a huge hug while saying, "Congrats Phaenna, you are closer than ever for your goal!"
Phaenna hugged her back but quickly retracted as she said, "Calm down Algaia, Elder said I still need a few years of polishing my skills, and I'm not graduated yet."
Elder Evander just chuckled on the side as he went back to mixing potions, Algaia and Phaenna noticed that Elder Evander went back to work, they just slipped out not disturbing him again.
-Outside-
"Hey do you know why they were being chased by that manticore?" Algaia opened up the question on her mind when they first met them.
"From what they told, that manticore has been terrorizing their village that was nearby," Phaenna explained.
"Huh... Wait, we were at Mt. Shyama right?" Algaia asked Phaenna out of the blue.
"Yea why?" Phaenna answered with a confused expression, and moments later her eyes widened as something just clicked on her mind, "Does that mean that manticore is Metztli?"
Algaia also realized this and soon she started shaking Phaenna from side to side while screaming "Quick! Open up a portal to Mt. Shyama!"
"Stop shaking me first!" Phaenna screamed back, Algaia stopped shaking Phaenna as she smiled while scratching her head, Phaenna started doing the hands signs she used to open the portal from before.
-Mt. Shyama-
A manticore could be seen surfacing from the ground beneath while trying to catch air, "BWAH! Now what were those two thinking burying me alive and even using Earth Tomb on me!" Metztli said while shaking the dirt off his fur.
As he was doing that, a portal opened up a few meters away from him and the figure of Algaia and Phaenna popped out of the portal, they were scanning the surrounding and when they saw Metztli they just smiled and Algaia said in a nervous tone, "He-hey Metztli, you look a lil dirty today, hehehe."
