"Shut up! All of you!" Kristin screamed. "You're supposed to be fearless warriors and yet you act so cowardly!" She continued.
"How is she going to heal any of us if you keep huddling all over her!" She finished as the warriors stopped in realization that Kristin is right.
"She's right, we retreat first before she start any treatment." A water tribe warrior suggested. The others just nodded as they helped each other while slowly retreating to the cover of the forest.
The surrounding greenery of the battlefield has been blown away by the thunderbeasts' initial attack so they had to retreat quite a ways away.
Though the other are retreating, Leslie just stood there, staring at the giant monsters.
"They're grieving..." She muttered before Elijah tugged on her shoulder, bringing her back to her senses.
Luckily the thunderbeasts are occupied by the other warriors so they got to the forested area relatively safe.
Once they were in the cover of the forest, several warriors are working in conjunction to clear out the area so they can lay down the wounded.
It's at this time that Charlotte finally arrived. Sticks and leaves on her head
"You're late," Elijah commented when he saw her.
"Kept falling and loosing balance." Charlotte replied as she dusted herself, "What's the situation?" she asked.
"Well..." Elijah then explained what he knows to far and they asked the other warriors to fill them in.
-In another part of the battlefield-
When Alex arrived, he could see two datus taking on one Electro Fenrir each while the rest of the magic wielders and archers, along with the envoys, are taking on the third one, the one that casted lightning from the sky which was blocked by Alex.
Alex could be seen covered in lightning as he approach where the Datus are, and as he's closing in, a large stream of fire, huge enough to engulf the Electro Fenrir's head. It was followed by a large chunk of rock that hit the Fenrir square in the jaw.
Another Electro Fenrir is being barraged by what Alex could conclude was highly pressurized jets of water, and debris flying around the Fenrir's head, obscuring its vision.
The last one being barraged in a cacophony of colors and arrows. But notably, none were able to draw blood from the fenrirs. Bruised, yes, but not wounded.
Some noticed Alex's arrival, none of them batting an eye as everyone is busy trying to survive while fighting the thunderbeasts.
Alex approached where Storm and Dagat are, asking what happened.
"Kid what are you doing here?! Its dangerous!" Storm exclaimed, not even looking at Alex.
"A warrior came to the village screaming for help, and so everyone is mobilized!" Alex explained as he tried to not get swept by Storm's strong winds.
As they are talking, the thunderbeasts they are fighting opened its jaws and electricity began to converge in it.
"Shit!" Alex cursed out of character as he quickly formed another one of those blue forcefield to act as a shield for them.
The lightning was fired as it hit Alex's shield, which started showing signs of cracking after a few moments. Dagat and Storm watched in awe and shock, even they could not block it and was forced to dodge.
Alex, who's trying to repair it by trying to injecting more magic into the shield, is struggling to keep his focus to keep the shield active in the first place.
The barrage of lightning stopped soon after as though Dagat, Storm and Alex didn't notice it, the ground around them was scorched to black by the attack.
Alex fell on his knees as Dagat and Storm continued in their attack.
-The forest-
Charlotte could see the tribesmen trying their best as she's itching to fight, "I'm gonna help them." She announced as her limbs began to transform into that of a wolf's.
"How exactly? Even Kristin isn't much help, and she's stronger than us." Elijah asked as he thought Charlotte to be idiotic in even thinking she could be of any help.
"We gotta help somehow, we could act as the support, trying to recover everyone as much as possible, we could at least try to reduce casualties." Charlotte said before she took off, running on all fours.
"Hey- ughh that idiot!" Elijah kicked the ground in frustration, "I'm going too, what she said made sense, even though we won't be of much use in battle, we should at least help in recovering the wounded."
Elijah said as lightning once again danced around his body and he took off in a flash of silver.
