The god of dreams decided to give up on the demigod killer and withdraw. It was a loss to him to come for nothing, but he was quick to withdraw. He left quickly as a sign of good will to whoever was using the demigod as a vessel.
After he left, the half god of killing sighed in relief. Then he withdrew his spiritual power from his two divine flesh present in the demigod killer's body.
After doing so, he said to himself, "Fortunately, he didn't realize that I am just a remnant of a dead god. If he knew that I am a glass cannon incapable of prolonged battle, he would have surely moved against me and even tried to control him."
Technically, he has the same state of existence as a godling. But he is incomplete and in a fragile state. This makes him even weaker than a godling. So if he had fought the god of dreams, he would have surely lost.
Fortunately, the god of dreams was fooled by his bluff, so he didn't have to fight. However, he still couldn't relax.
