But this won't work for the god of fate because she has used the Fate Cutting divine ability on him. This divine ability has begun to cut him, so it must finish cutting his fate.
In order to avoid this disaster of dying by cutting, he had to divert the disaster onto someone related to him by blood. Only someone whose fate is related to his can satisfy the Fate Cutting divine ability and help him avoid this disaster.
This is why he used the Disaster Diverting ultimate ability in combination with the Disaster Avoiding divine ability, and why he used one of his descendants to substitute for him, not a random stone or log of wood.
