Shi Lang spent his time contemplating the ways of time, and guiding the rest of the sect disciples to elevate their own understandings of Dao and spiritual cultivation. After reaching the level of Saint long ago, Shi Lang found the amount of spiritual energy or true essence his dantian and body can hold was limited, and this could not be changed.
The only way to seek a path to the higher level was to comprehend the Dao Rules. Only then can he advance to the ranks of a true saint.
The saint realm had three layers, Seeker, Acolyte, and Priest. After these three layers what lay ahead was covered with a fog of uncertainty. To increase his level, he would need to go through some data and it wouldn't be easy for him to find that data.
