27th February, Stellar Year 2925
Capaldi
Night Time
Dylan had promised Lena that tonight he would finally take her out.
For days she had been stuck inside the house while he dealt with matters that he never fully explained. The quiet streets of Capaldi had felt unusually dull to her after the restless excitement of the past weeks, and Dylan knew it. So he had promised her a small escape tonight. Nothing extravagant. Just Stanley's club, a few drinks, some music, and the kind of easy laughter that only appeared when trouble stayed far away.
Gibbs was supposed to meet them there.
Lena had reminded him of that promise three separate times during dinner.
The house felt warm that evening. Almost peaceful.
