"That is a bed.. but you already know that, that is the bathroom, that is a chair, that is a desk, and bla bla bla you get the point," Yamikani said as he was showing the inside of the underground bunker.
He turned around and glanced at Laurentina, "Any way, now that the world thought I have killed the monster, the other Rulers will most likely asked for my clarity. If you excuse me, I will go and prepare myself for the Rulers meeting. If you have any question, you may ask Laurentina. Toodles!" he said as he shut the door to the bunker.
Laurentina and Amisha put both Molly and Stanley on the beds and started treating their wounds. Both of them didn't say anything to each other and the silence continued for a few hours until Amisha broke the silence. She walked to Laurentina who was treating Molly poked her back and asked the question that has been bothering her.
"Ehm excuse me, miss Laurentina, but how am I still alive? The last thing I remembered was Lord Yamikani's blade piercing through my chest... and I... I died... then I just woke up on the ground while Lord Yamikani was trying to remember the passcode to the underground bunker. What happened? I also remembered the fact that Lord Yamikani killed the baby as well.. but the baby lives, I was planning on asking him myself but that didn't go too well."
Laurentina didn't immediately answer Amisha's question. She took a few seconds to think and finally answered, "Normally I wouldn't answer your question because it may endanger Lord Yamikani, but the fact that you yourself is in no position of spoiling it to the public, I might as well tell you so that you know better the situation you are in." She stood up from her chair and her eyes met Amisha's.
"As you might have known, the 12 Rulers have strong policies against revealing their powers to the public, they are strong for sure, but their powers are also unique and different from each other. Lord Yamikani's power is the ability to manipulate all senses of living beings around him. He could choose his targets so not all of us were affected by his power, in this case, he excluded me from his effect. But since his power is a bit too complicated, he usually use specific words that only his trusted ally will know, the moment he said "ADIBUS" he was making me aware that everyone else in that area, except me, is under his influence. You were not excluded, so what you saw, hear, smell, and feel are the same as everyone in that area. What they witnessed back then was the death of both you and the monster in the hand of Lord Yamikani. That is why Lord Yamikani brought you all to this bunker, it is important for all of you to stay here, hidden from everyone and everything."
Amisha was silent for a few seconds until she replied, "I see... but what did he meant by he couldn't kill me?"
Laurentina stared at her and smirked, "Don't you remember? The last person who tried to kill you lost all of his limb and his head."
Amisha's memory rushed through her head, flashbacks of what had happened that day fill her entire mind. So many things had happened in such a short time that it was hard to keep up.
"That Hormidas fellow was known for his immortality, his regenerative ability, and his indestructible body. I myself can't kill him with my white flames, and yet that boy manage to do it.... it was humiliating for me and yet I couldn't help but feel the excitement of my master, after so long he was actually excited for something. Not even the recent birth of his son brought him this much joy... well it's not like his son has anything to offer but grief anyway."
"Huh? What do you mean by that?"
"It is none of your concern right now, the point I am trying to make right now is that my master finally found something worth living, and that "something" is very dangerous for him. He is a genius and I have no doubt he will manage to pull this trick successfully, but in order to do that, you must follow everything he said, if you tried to do anything sneaky, I will kill you even if I have to die by that monster!"
"Okay okay, I understand. At least now I understand why I am still alive right no-" Amisha stopped and her eyes widen as the realization hits her.
"The snake lady, the one with the silver clothing, is she-"
"She is dead."
Laurentina's words instanly killed the light of hope that was in Amisha's eyes a second ago.
"That lady was already dead when Lord Yamikani arrived at the scene. That Molly girl kept repeating the name Yennefer, so I assumed it was the name of the dead lady?"
Amisha looked down at the floor and replied, "Yes"
"I see... well nothing could be done about that. Who are they exactly? What's their business with the monster? Are they rogue hunters as well?"
"No, they are if I am not mistaken, a part of the group follower of the o-"
The moment Amisha said that, Laurentina's eyes were filled with murderous intent as her bloodlust overwhelmed Amisha's senses.
"Then they must be killed."
