Loki sat calmly inside the abandoned room, his hands and feet still bound by thick iron chains. Despite being imprisoned, there was not the slightest trace of fear on his handsome face. Instead, his usual sly smile remained, as though being chained up was merely an inconvenience rather than a serious threat.

He looked toward Thor and then at Jack, his eyes carrying a hint of amusement.

"Elder brother, I never expected that you would come back to lead a guest to see me," Loki said. "Moreover, it is the famous Mr. Jack. To actually see you here is truly a pleasure."

Jack looked at Loki for a moment before smiling.

"Seeing you also makes me feel quite happy. Especially since I get to watch you perform like a clown on a stage."

Loki's smile did not disappear.

"Right, I am a clown. A clown performing on a stage for your entertainment."

"A person must have self-knowledge. I appreciate your self-knowledge," Jack said with a grin.

Loki chuckled.

"Listening to you speak, it seems you have read the ten-year book of victory. Yet you and my brother unexpectedly came here together. What exactly is going on? Thor should hate you very much."

Jack raised an eyebrow.

"Do you think so?"

Loki smiled again, his expression becoming even more cunning.

"This is rather embarrassing. It makes me think that Thor wants to go home, right? But the Tesseract is with Jack. Naturally, he must come looking for you."

Jack nodded appreciatively.

"I have to say, you are easier to use than Thor's brain."

"Thanks for the praise, Mr. Jack. Actually, I also thought the same thing, but Thor refused to acknowledge it."

Thor immediately gave a cold snort.

Loki glanced at him before continuing.

"It looks like Mr. Jack intends to take us to Asgard together. It has been a long time since I have been there. I must admit, I am rather fondly remembering it."

"The crimes you committed will cause you to be punished by Asgard," Thor said in a deep voice.

Loki's smile became sarcastic.

"Is that what an elder brother should say? How touching. But I wonder, how are you going to punish Mr. Jack?"

Thor coldly snorted.

"We will not let him off."

"Such perfunctory words," Loki replied mockingly. "Are these truly the words of the great and dignified gods of Asgard? Bullies who are strong against the weak and weak against the strong."

Thor suddenly had nothing to say.

"Royal Father has already made his decision. You do not need to worry about it."

"Odin?" Loki laughed. "What decision can Odin possibly make? He is already old, yet he still intends to pass the throne to you. What a joke."

"Loki, be quiet! He is your father!" Thor shouted.

"Father?" Loki's expression finally changed. "No. He is your father. I am only the abandoned son of a Frost Giant, the son who may never be allowed to become King of the Gods."

The atmosphere inside the room became noticeably heavier.

Thor stared at his brother, his expression complicated. There were many things he wanted to say, but the words seemed unable to leave his mouth.

Jack, however, had no interest in listening to the brothers continue their argument.

He waved his hand impatiently.

"Shut up. I am not interested in your quarrels. But Loki, do you also want to go to Asgard?"

Loki looked at Jack and shook his head slightly.

"Mr. Jack, I really have no intention of going. Naturally, I know that this is probably impossible anyway, so there is no need to worry about it."

Jack shrugged.

"Fine."

Asgard

Asgard was the magnificent realm of the Aesir, a divine land that seemed to exist outside the ordinary world.

Golden palaces stretched beneath the brilliant sky. Massive structures stood proudly across the realm, while magnificent roads and bridges connected different parts of the city. The scenery was unlike anything found on Earth.

Yet more than a year ago, this beautiful kingdom had suffered a disaster that shocked all of Asgard.

The Immortal Palace, the heart of their capital, had endured a devastating attack. Large sections of the palace had been destroyed, countless Asgardian warriors had been injured or killed, and the once-majestic buildings had been reduced to ruins.

More than a year had passed since that disaster.

Through the efforts of the Asgardians, much of the kingdom had gradually returned to its former beauty. The damaged structures had been rebuilt, the streets had become lively again, and the golden palace once more stood proudly.

But the scars of the battle had not completely disappeared.

Some broken walls still remained.

Some buildings still carried traces of the destruction.

The Asgardians had rebuilt their home, but they had not forgotten who had destroyed it.

Inside the restored Immortal Palace, Odin sat upon his throne.

Suddenly, the space above the palace began to fluctuate violently.

Massive waves of blue energy appeared in the sky and began swirling rapidly. The strange spatial disturbance immediately attracted the attention of the Asgardians.

Odin's expression changed.

He suddenly vanished from his throne.

Above the Immortal Palace, the blue energy continued increasing until a gigantic spatial wormhole appeared.

Asgardian soldiers immediately flew into the sky.

Weapons were raised.

Their expressions became tense.

Nobody knew who was coming through the wormhole.

Then—

"Ah!"

A voice suddenly came from inside.

Four figures flew out of the wormhole.

Jack appeared first, carrying Jane Foster securely in his arms. He controlled their descent and stopped in midair.

Jane looked around in surprise.

Before she could say anything, she noticed the countless Asgardian soldiers surrounding them.

Jack looked at the warriors and smiled.

"Hello. Your enthusiasm in welcoming me is really making me embarrassed."

The Asgardian soldiers immediately became restless.

"Wu... Wu Yang..."

"Jack!"

"It's Jack!"

Fear spread through the soldiers.

Their expressions became pale.

They had not forgotten the terrifying disaster that had happened more than a year ago.

Jack was the man who had destroyed their Immortal Palace.

The man who had once treated Asgard as if its defenses were nothing.

Now he had returned.

Some soldiers tightened their grips around their weapons, while others instinctively stepped backward.

"Everyone, remain calm!" Thor shouted.

The soldiers immediately recognized him.

"It's the God of Thunder!"

"Thor has returned!"

Seeing Thor made the Asgardians feel slightly safer.

Then a deep and dignified voice suddenly echoed across the sky.

"Bold Jack! You dare to come to Asgard!"

Odin appeared before Jack.

The Eternal Spear was firmly held in his hand, its tip pointed directly toward Jack.

"King of the Gods!"

The Asgardian soldiers immediately felt their confidence return.

Their King of the Gods had appeared.

As long as Odin was here, they believed that Asgard was safe.

"Royal Father!"

Thor brought Loki forward.

Odin's eyes immediately fell upon Loki.

"Loki."

Loki smiled.

"King of the Gods, we meet again."

He deliberately avoided calling Odin "Father."

Jack looked at the scene with amusement.

"What a touching reunion."

Odin ignored him and looked toward Thor.

"Thor, explain yourself. Why have you returned with Jack?"

Thor shook his head.

"Royal Father, it is a long story."

"Why don't you ask me?" Loki suddenly interrupted with a smile. "I believe I can explain everything quite well."

Thor gave Loki an irritated look.

Jack looked around and frowned.

"Why does everyone keep ignoring me?"

He then turned his attention toward the Immortal Palace.

"Odin, it has been more than a year since we last met. The Immortal Palace has been restored quite well. It has almost returned to its former beauty."

Odin's fist tightened.

"Jack."

His voice was filled with restrained anger.

"This time, I will not allow you to destroy even the smallest part of the Immortal Palace."

Jack waved his hand casually.

"Relax. I have no interest in destroying the place this time. I came here representing the best wishes of the people of Earth."

Odin's expression remained cold.

He clearly did not believe Jack.

Odin knew exactly how dangerous this man was.

If Jack and Asgard fought again, the destruction would be enormous.

Jack could act without restraint.

But Odin could not.

He was the King of the Gods. Every decision he made had to consider the safety of his people.

"Jack," Odin demanded, "what exactly is your purpose in coming here?"

Jane was still being held in Jack's arms. She looked around at the magnificent scenery, her eyes filled with curiosity.

"So this is Asgard?"

She looked at the golden buildings and the breathtaking landscape.

"It is quite attractive."

Jack nodded.

"Yes. It is indeed attractive. There are many beautiful sights here that cannot be seen on Earth."

He paused and smiled.

"That is why destroying it would be especially regrettable."

Jane immediately gave him a supercilious look.

"You're such a pervert."

Jack shrugged innocently.

Odin's patience was beginning to disappear.

"Answer me!"

Jack turned toward him with an exaggeratedly frustrated expression.

"Eh? What did you say a moment ago?"

The surrounding Asgardian soldiers became furious.

How dare Jack ignore their King of the Gods like this?

"Jack!"

Odin's angry voice echoed across the palace.

Before he could continue, however, a familiar female voice suddenly rang through the air.

"Jack!"

The voice was filled with anger and disbelief.

Jack turned toward the sound.

When he saw the woman approaching, his expression immediately changed into a mischievous smile.

He looked back toward Odin.

"You asked what my goal was, didn't you?"

Jack spread his hands casually.

"Fine. I'll tell you."

He glanced toward the approaching woman again.

"The reason I came to Asgard is actually very simple."

Jack smiled brightly.

"The father came here to discuss marriage."

For a moment, the entire atmosphere became strangely silent.

Jane's eyes widened.

Thor froze.

Loki's expression changed, and even Odin seemed momentarily stunned.

The woman approaching them stared at Jack with an expression that seemed capable of burning a hole through him.

Jack, however, remained completely shameless.

He looked around at the stunned Asgardians and smiled.

"What? Why is everyone looking at me like that?"

Jane covered her face with one hand.

"Jack, you really are hopeless."

Thor's expression darkened.

Odin tightened his grip around the Eternal Spear.

And Loki's lips slowly curled upward.

For the first time since Jack had entered Asgard, Loki looked genuinely entertained.

"This," Loki murmured, "is going to be interesting."
