Vera Warner remembered the first time she met Zola Morgan. He had been kidnapped then, too. 'Children from wealthy families always face more trouble than ordinary people,' she mused.
"Rest assured, if I see Zola, I'll contact you immediately. I have no intention of keeping him for myself."
Luna Warner refused to back down. "No matter how you spin it, the kid ran away because of you. If anything happens to him, I won't let you off easy, so you'd better find him for me."
After spitting out this threat, Luna Warner stormed off.
All she had to do now was wait and see. She would let Vera Warner find some information on Zola Morgan, and then she would decide her next move.
'In any case, no matter what it takes, I'm going to kill him this time.'
Vera Warner couldn't stay calm any longer. She immediately called Victor Morgan to confirm what had happened.
"Why didn't you tell me something this serious happened?"
